The fact the TrialPay has hung the delivery of FREE software on an offer that PULLS MY CREDIT REPORT is pretty lame, but when it REQUIRES me to be approved for the card it is pure garbage. Now my credit profile has been pulled and I have nothing to show for it except a hit on my already low beacon score.
I understand the model of completing partner offers to generate leads and sometimes income, but hanging an approval on the offer is just plain shady and frankly I am not sure that TrialPay has a right to know the decision of the credit issuer with regard to the applicant, and I am pretty sure it violates a privacy policy of many of the creditors.
I know they will probably just brush me off and ignore my rant, and that is fine. Just know that I now lump trialpay in with check cashing centers, payday loan outfits, and other "predatory" businesses that generate income from phantom, worthless transactions that customers don't really need or want.
