Tribute Mastercard-Unauthorized Direct Debit No business dealings with these guys and they just randomly debited $100 from wife's account! Atlanta Georgia

Neither my wife or I had ever heard of Tribute Mastercard. When she checked her account register, she saw a $100 direct debit from her account. Wachovia gave us the contact number associated with the debit which we then called to find out what the deal was. Tribute directed us back to Wachovia as according to their account representative they don't have the authority to direct debit an account. Obviously they do and did or my wife would not be missing $100! We were told by Wachovia to file an Automated Clearing House (ACH) dispute form (which is available online (google search). My first concern here is how they got her account information to begin with...Bottom line: We're now going to have to close her account and re-open a new account to prevent future unauthorized access to what is now a compromised account.
