Trip Incentives Corp. TRIPS stole my $50 and was discriminatory Deerfield BEach Florida

 i received a certificate for a 3 day 2 night stay at a resort from a selection of approximately 50 locations.  Nowhere on the form did it indicate that I was required to attend any seminar, sales presentation or timeshare presentation.  I submitted form with $50 refundable deposit and selected 3 locations.  Upon receipt Trips sent me a letter to call their number.  When I phoned I was told that I needed to call prior to submitting the request to "validate" my request and this is why I received the letter.  The application form indicated that the certificate was valid for up to two adults, at least one of which was gainfully employed.  One could travel with two children under 18 and all companions must produce verifiable identification indicating the same residence address.  My application contained my information and indicated that I would be traveling with my 2 daughters ages 18 and 19.  It did indicate there would be an additional charge for the additional occupants.  Upon my phone call as instructed, the representative again verified my travel information including companions.  Her name was Andy.  I asked was I qualified and would I receive notification of which location of the 3 chosen was available?  I was informed yes.  Again she confirmed the additional occupant information on my application.  She informed me that I was not qualifed for the trip due to the fact that my two children were over the age of 18 years old. 

I then asked her if I did not qualify according to the application and I did not qualify according to our conversation, then why did they cash my $50 check?  I blew a fit and requested an immediate refund of my monies.  It has been two weeks and a certified letter later and I have still not received my refund. 

This company is elusive and discriminatory.  I obviously am a single mother with verifiable income.  I do not have a partner, boyfriend or companion that shares my same address with me.  My two children do and I was willing to pay the additional fee required.  If I did not qualify the company should have returned my check indicating this.  Instead they took my money hoping I would just disappear and forget about this.

What Trips Incentive does not realize is that although I am from NJ I have a place in FL.  I also have more than sufficient income to qualify to purchase anything they may be selling (even though their application does not indicate this).  If I don't receive my money back, next month when I am in FL I will be visiting their location with the television station right there with me.  These certificates are being distributed by local NJ businesses as an bonus for purchasing products in many stores in NJ.  Thousands have been given out including mine.  Shame on Trips Incentive for their false and misleading advertising to businesses and to recipients of these certificates.  True discrimination at its finest!  See you soon Andy at Trips Incentive!
