I ordered a set (2) Titan Peelers ($14.99) from Tristar Products on TV. They charged $15.98 for shipping with the USPS. I received the item today and was amazed by how much I was overcharged on shipping. The item came in a small box of 9oz and measured 7.5 length x 2 high x 3.5 wide (inches). I visited the USPS website to check how much it should cost...WOW $2.58 for FIRST CLASS MAIL! it's a $13.40 profit. Let's calculate a fair shipping / handling and be charged $4.00. That's still a $11.98 profit! This is a RIP-OFF of amazing proportions. Not to mention that the little box was shipped via "Presorted Standard Smart Post", which means that Tristar gets a HUGE discount for mass mailing, well bellow $2.58 First Class mail. Folks: DON'T BUY from this company. They are calling us ignorants and are laughing at us.

You agreed to pay the (admittedly excessive) shipping and handling charges when you ordered. Why did you order something that cost more to ship than you paid for the product? All this fuss AFTER you agreed to pay the shipping charges seems pointless. As long as you pay first and complain later, they'll probably keep laughing all the way to the bank.
