I sent for a free sample and gave a check card number for paying the postage. I received the sample,but surprise! within 1-2 weeks I have 2 charges to my checking account for a full size bottle of Hoodia and a membership for E Curves. I tried to get the charges removed by a telephone call to the company. No way would they consider a refund. I went to the web site and read all the fine print. I needed to send the Hoodia back in a US Postal box and have it sent by certified mail. I invested more money in doing that. I received the certified card back with a signature but as of this date I have never got the refund for the Hoodia that I returned. It was still in the brown envelope that it was orginally shipped to me and unopened. I put that in a U.S. Postal envelope as required. Just as all the fine print described. I immediately cancelled my check card. How is a person to handle a company that will continue to use your credit card and continue to send the items without your permission?
