the branch employees with whom I deal, try to be helpful but they are stuck in a bad corporate culture. The branch employees are not allowed voice mail. So, when you call, the call goes into oblivion after the first ring. Rules don't meaan anything at this company.
I opened a business aacount with Trustco after seeing an ad in which the bank sited not taking any bailout money. That was a huge mistake on my part. I've had wires not move for days. I calaled the corporate wire desk one day and talk with the wwire desk person. On another desk, I call to check on an outgoing wire, and the customer rep says customers cannot talk with the wire desk. Trustco employees say one thing and corporate doesn'ty back them up.
On another occasion, I deposited a check from Chase Bank into the Trustco account and it cleaared the Chase account the same day it was deposited into Trustco. But, Trustco did not post the money to my bank account for 15 days.
Doing business with this bank is a mistake that I won't make again.
