I worked for Trusted Translations as well for a few months while I was taking courses at the University in Buenos Aires and let me tell you, it was nothing more than a sweatshop. The quality of their translations was awful, clients constantly angry and bent out of shape because nothing was ever edited. Just run through a translator in google by some translator who you couldnt even have a decent simple converstaion with in English, let alone trust them to translate important corporate documents or legal briefs. I was also told like 10 times a day to make sure that if anybody asks never to say I am located in Argentina, I must say Washington or Virginia. I was told that if I tell any client that the office is in Argentnia I would be fired. The owner of the company gets US government contracts for translation work, which REQUIRE the employer to be based in the US and have employees on the payroll in the US and he is paying people in ARGENTINA to do the work for slave wages of around $400 per month!! I got tired of their abuse and low pay and just never went back. [continued below]....
..... People quit from their office on a daily basis. Former employees have written truthful reviews on the website www.glassdoor.com about how awful it is to work at Trusted Translations and then Richard Estevez writes fake reviews about what an awesome company it is to work for. Go to their office on 1193 Billinghurst street in Buenos Aires. If you want to have an office in Argentina that is fine it is legal but DON'T LIE to clients and the US government into making them think your company is based in the US when it is NOT!

Sounds like a bunch of disgruntled soreheads

AUTHOR: Happy Translator - ()

I am an independent contractor that has maintained a steady and consistently good working relationship with Trusted Translations for almost ten years from my office in Rhode Island, USA. I was nevwer given the impression that they were anything but a strightforward Argentine company with offices in the USA and elsewhere.

No one from TT has ever implied otherwise or suggested that the company headquarters was not located in BA.

My annual 1099 forms from TT required for filing my US income taxes show that TT does indeed have a proper tax ID number and a legal office in the United States.

My contracted payments have never been late nor reduced, and I consider TT one of my very best clients. I am personally acquainted with several of the parties mentioned, and hold them without exception in high regard.

I do not know what beef these posters had with TT, but from my long experience with the company and its personnel, I am more than reasonably certain that the fault lies with the long-winded complainers.

#2 Author of original report

Trusted Translations ARGENTINA - NOT MIAMI, Florida

AUTHOR: Untrusted Translations - (United States of America)

Trusted Translations is one of those companies whose owner thinks he is a genius.  His "business model" is based on putting up a front as if he is a US based company, and fakes it by maintaining an address in the United States as a front.  However all operations are out of Buenos Aires, Argentina. He makes a good deal of money as his staff in Argentina are paid between $400 and $800 US Dollars PER MONTH.  Yet he gets awarded US government contracts which REQUIRE those jobs be based in the US. In essence he is defrauding the US government and we have reported him to ALL appropriate agencies.  And we find it really funny that he posted in this string of messages saying that "legal measures" will be taken.  Legal measures will be taken against HIM for defrauding the US government. Have all of the offices that you want in Argentina, but don't cheat US taxpayers thinking they are helping to pay US workers a fair salary while you pay PENNIES to workers in Argentina and NO payroll taxes in the USA on any of those employees!

This is the address that they list in the US as the "Trusted Translations" office:
825 Brickell Bay Dr #1849, Miami, FL 33131

If you look at the real estate site, Zillow.com you can see that this address is an 800 sq. ft. condo, it's no office:

http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/825-Brickell-Bay-Dr-STE-1849-Miami-FL-33131/43874082_zpid/

More evidence:

http://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/Building_825_Brickell-Bay-Dr_Miami_FL

The only REAL trusted translations office is in Buenos Aires, Argentina at 1193 Billinghurst Street. There are about 15 employees there.  Everybody else works freelance from remote places or home and are NOT employees of trusted translations, but independent contractors.

Just evidence of more lies from Richard Estevez, Gustavo Lucardi, and Horacio Carman. When I worked at Trusted Translations anytime I answered the phone and the issue came up I HAD to say I was in the US under threat of being fired.

It's time these unscrupulous business people started answering for their deeds!

This is funny a man that work on the sales department, you will find 2 profiles (same as Horacio Carman), one when he was working on another company (next), of course it says Argentina, and other profile with older work on next but actual company Trusted Translations where it say work in the US (of course is not true):
http://www.linkedin.com/pub/dir/Sven/Oravec

All them are employers not freelancer!  Some of them (at least in most part Sales People or Account Managers born in US, but they live in ARGENTINA!).

So... you will make legal measurs for what? Say the true?  I cant believe that Government from USA got your services (I know is true), but I cant believe why they dont take a look better and see that all the people involved in their projects (that should BORN in USA and should LIVE INSIDE USA), is living in Argentina.

Liliana what you gonna say about all this information?  Too many people working for un-Trusted Translations from Argentina, too many information about your company and Argentina.
