Steve Barton from contacted me wanting to know if we had any old accounts that needed collected. One in particular came to mind and I told him about it then the high pressure sales pitch came. I told Mr Barton that I would like time to check with some other people in our company before I turned this over to collection. Without know what our original contract with these cheese balls was I turned the account over to them. Less than 30 minutes later while talking to one of our sales people about what I had done I was informed that the customer had payed in full over the weekend. I IMMEDIATELY contacted Mr Barton to let him know what happened and then received another phone call from another employee of TAA informing me that even though I collected the money before their initial sales call that I still owed them there commission on this collection. They made the offer to reduce their commission by 50% as long as I paid it by the end of the day. I made the offer that since they only had this account for 30 minutes and did not have time to do anything with it that they could waive this charge and we could continue to do business in the future or I would pay it as long as they nullified our original contract and guaranteed to never contact our business in the future. These guys are cheese balls of the highest order of cheese balls and it would not hurt my feelings if they all broke out in warts.
