I went to Tulsa Firearms to rent and shoot some pistols I was thinking about buying from them and was told if I would have to buy a membership before I could rent the pistols. I said that was fine because I was told their policy had changed. I was also told that if I did buy agun from them I could get an additional one year membership or a marksmanship class. I was also told that if I paid for my purchase in cash I would receive a discounted price. I had to wait a week to rent after buying a membership. When I was finely able to rent, shoot and purchase. It was a different story. I chose the gun I wanted, ran out and got the cash for the discount, which was only $50, bringing down the price to what you normally pay and then asked about the free year or class. I was told, no. The cash discount was a third option and the one they said I chose. I was shocked. No where on their websit is the cash discount mentioned as an option if you buy a gun from them. Only the free year membership, which now is an extra year membership if you want to rent from them, or a free marksmanship class. I was originally told the discount was applied if you paid in cash. I felt like I was taken because I'm a women trying to buy protection for myself. They were also pretty rude to my daughter and her boyfriend because she sat in his lap in the only chair available to them while they watched me shooting. They also claimed her boyfriend was kissing her which neither of them ever do in public. My daughter and her boyfriend were made to feel very awkward there. Needless to say, I'm now stuck with a one year membership to a place I really don't want use. Live and learn...
