I payed the debt when it was in Palisade's hands, in 2003 i believe it was (been thru a couple moves and can't find the payoff letter i received). anyway in january i get a letter from TxCollect saying i still owe $43.70. I know its not a lot of money but thats not the point.
so I call TxCollect and file a dispute on the 27th of january. I was told I would here from Palisades LLC in 1 weeks time. it has now been 3 weeks. This is the same kind of stuff I ran into when i previously paid off the debt. I wouldn't recieve letters until there was only a day or two left on their "deadlines"
