Txu Energy Company Transferring a bill from my husband's exwife home to our current bill with no payment arrangements availbable to us. Dallas Texas

Txu energy is going to apply a charged off bill to my current electric bill, just because my husband was married to a trifling woman, who after he left in December of 2002, she did'nt take the bill out of his name. They were divorced in march of 2004 and txu said the bill was from feb-2004-july-2004, i explained to them that my husband was not living there and they the ex got the house in the divorce decree, that did'nt matter to them all they want is their money, makes no difference who pays it as long as it gets paid. They won't even consider giving my husband and i any time to pay the charged off bill, it's not like we are trying to afford paying it we just need some time to do so. Their answer was call the ex and see if she would pay the bill, i ask the customer representative has she ever been divorced. Who would pay for something if its not in their name, she could care less about the fact that we have lights or not and sure doesn't care if she ruins his credit.

This company has no compassion what so ever, we are just decent people trying to make a living, mind you from paycheck to paycheck and we can't recieve any help from the company that provides us with electric service, haven't we already have enough people in the dark!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seems to me that they would go after her and her daughter they are still living in the home.
