My complaint is directed at the US Loss Mitigation Office in Charlotte, NC, and affiliate of the Virginia company. Specifically the complaint is directed at Mr. Paul Boccolucci, a representative at that office. I contracted US Loss Mitigation to deal with alternatives to saving my building in Brooklyn, NY. They claimed their office handled everything from financing restructuring to short sales and bankruptcy counseling. I paid up front $750 for their services.

My complaint involves three aspects.

1.Foreclosure is a imminent event which requires timely attention and communication. Mr. Boccolucci claimed they were working on many alternatives in my case including financing alternatives. Upon finding that there was little equity in the building, the communication with Mr. Boccolucci became rare if almost non-existent. Many phone calls were made and messages left over the course of weeks going into months.

2.After much time (4-6 weeks), I was told that a short sale was being worked on by email and given forms to work out. These were competed and returned to the company. I thought a short wale was being worked on. Again, no communication for weeks going into a month a half.

3.Finally, I was told that after all this time the short sale component of the company was non-existent at this time and was referred to an outside consultant who knew nothing of the case and charge $18,000 on closing for his services.

This whole process took over 3 months.

The three parts of this complaint are lack of communication in urgent situations, lack of honesty in regard to current company services, and failure to meet contractual services (in other words, there was no functioning short sale department)

I have since had to use a local broker and rush to find a buyer to catch up on this situation. These complaints were given to Mr. Boccolucci. No apology or refund was given but due to the lack of communication, delay in services and misrepresentation of services, I think a refund is warranted.

This company has gone through a name change-- now called HomeGroup LLC, they are still doing the same thing. Please research the company whose business office is supposedly out of Grandville, Michigan, but everyone in the company outside of the virtual office walkers- whom I'm sure have no clue that they are working for crooks- I know i didn't, but thats why I only worked for them for three weeks. Anyway all of the non- virtual office workers are located in North Carolina. If you're truly the man that has "over 25 years in the business" as their script says and as it seems to be referring to your companies' reputation, please look into the company ASAP.

ALTHOUGH, THE US LOSS MITIGATION HAS NO RELATIONSHIP TO THIS COMPLAINT - WE DO NOT HAVE A MEMBER BY THE NAME OF PAUL BOCCOLUCCI.

LET ME CLARIFY FOR MR. BOCCOLUCCI WHO'S APPARENTLY ATTEMPTING TO CONFUSE THE READER. HE PURCHASED OUR TRAINING AND REQUESTED TO BE ALLOWED TO OURSOURCE HIS FILE WORK TO OUR ORGANIZATION. WE AGREED AS LONG AS HE CONDUCTED BUSINESS UNDER NORTH CAROLINA HOME SOLUTIONS AS AN INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR.

UPON RECEIVING COMPLAINTS BY CONSUMERS - WE QUICKLY INVESTIGATED AND REQUEST THAT MR. BOCCOLUCCI CEASE THE UNAUTHORIZED USE OF OUR COMPANY NAME IN DOING BUSINESS WITH CONSUMERS.

WE HAVE MANY DOCUMENTED, CALLS, EMAILS, AND POSTAL MAIL CORRESPONDENCE OF CONSUMERS WHO PAID HIM AND NEVER RECEIVED THEIR MONEY AND/OR WERE NEVER REFERRED TO OUR OFFICE FOR HELP BY MR. BOCCOLUCCI. THEY ALL BELIEVED THEY WERE WORKING WITH US LOSS MITIGATION SERVICES DIRECTLY AS HE MISLEAD THEM TO BELIEVE. WE HAD NO SUCH FILES IN OUR OFFICE UNDER THEIR NAMES. WE CEASED TAKING ANY CASES FROM MR. BOCCOLUCCI FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT AND DECEPTIVE PRACTICES AND FORWARDED THE CONSUMERS BACK TO HIM TO RECTIFY THEIR REFUND REQUESTS.

BEWARE OF HAVING ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS INDIVIDUAL AS AND/OR NORTH CAROLINA HOME SOLUTIONS. HE IS CURRENTLY ATTEMPTING TO SWAY THE READERS OF THIS FORUM HERE TO BELIEVE HIM.
