I only wish I had read some of these comments before placing my orders w/ UKSoccershop.
I placed two orders that got as far as the fulfillment stage w/ this company and, unfortanately, ran into the same issue both times.
The first order had to be returned due to a printing error on behalf of the company. Per the terms of their website, any returned items that needed to be shipped back due to their error would be fully refunded- in addition to the refund of the goods themselves. When I shipped the shirt back, I had to wait a couple of weeks before the cost of the shirt was refunded- and that was after countless email attempts and PayPal payment requests/reminders. As of today (3 months or so later) I have yet to receive the $35 refund for shipping those items back.
One would normally learn from a scenario like that, but while that first order was in process I actually placed another order (March 30, 2011). This time for three shirts. 30 days after the order was placed, the shirts had yet to be printed. Again, per the terms of their website, once an order has been open for 30 days you have the option to cancel the order. I sent multiple emails stating that I no longer wished to continue w/ the order but those emails went unanswered. When the order status changed to "Printing" and, subsequently, "Shipping" I feared I would run into the same scenario as before. Only after filing a complaint w/ PayPal did I finally get back in contact w/ the reps at UKSS, although nothing was resolved. Two weeks or so later, I received the shirts in the mail- only to find that two of the three were either misprinted or misrepresentative from the images on the website. I began an email exchange w/ Simon (who apparently runs the show there) and he agreed to refund the money. I shipped the items back at roughly the same cost as my previous time (~$35). The items were received on June 8. Per the website, they recommend 10 working days to process refunds, which is understandable enough. After the 10 days, I tried contacting Customer Support but to no avail. When I finally reached Customer Support, they recommended I submit a PayPal Payment Request to Simon's email address (email@example.com
) because that is, apparently, how they handle refunds. That was two weeks ago. I have yet to receive the refund for the shirts or the cost of shipping the items back. Last week, I opened a case w/ my credit card company and I will continue to attempt contact w/ the reps at UKSoccerShop.
I have all of my communication attempts and responses documented and I intend on seeing this through. It's sad to see others going through the same ordeals I am but, I suppose in some strange way, it makes me feel better that I'm not alone. I wish everyone the best of luck.
