Our company entered into a 5 yr. contract with Ultimate Business Services a.k.a. Ultimate Water in November of 2008. From the onset we experienced problems with servicing the unit, water quality & billing.
It has been our experience with this company that whenever we have had an issue repeated phone calls were needed in order to get service or any other response.
In one such instance our credit card was erroneously and repeatedly charged, causing our credit card company to shut down the card as a safety measure. We constantly received past due notices when the company credit card was enrolled in auto-pay.
No matter what the issue we were met with practically ZERO customer service!
The incident that prompted this report was the icing on the cake! After several calls for service to address foul tasting, undrinkable water.being dispensed by their unit (their brochure boasts free maintenance...NOT) a technician was FINALLY dispatched and found it necessary to replace the unit. Upon arriving the next day, it was apparent that the unit leaked overnight causing damage to our wood flooring. It took multiple phone calls and more than a week of waiting before someone from Ultimate Water (their service manager) arrived to inspect. Upon leaving his exact words were"they will try to blame the A.C. unit and/or the aquarium but stand your ground!" I guess he knows his employers are shady! After waiting more than two weeks for any follow up to our claim, we were told exactly that...their position was the damage did not come from their incorrectly installed unit but from our a.C. & tank. Soooo basically a water cooler leaks for 24 hours...after installation & it causes NO damage!!!???
Outraged at their refusal to take any responsibility we then respectfully asked that in light of all of the issues we have had with this company, we be released from the remaining 7 or so months of our contract. Our request has been met with total disregard for the fact that we have been paying customers for more than 4 years despite our dissatisfaction with the product and non-existent service to which I might add being treated like scammers who file fraudulent claims!
What kind of consumer service in this competitive market outright ignores the concerns of it's customers...Ultimate Business Services that's who!
