I, Jay, was an employee of United Collection Bureau for 3 years, I was there best collector, but the things they made me say to the debtors were ,total lies and the threats we make are not true, we really cant do nothing but put fear into the debtors. They scam poeple into believing there are going to get sued, or served by the sheriff, or even have them arrested, we also told debtor that they will lose there homes, cars, and wages will be garnished, we also threat to notify there bosses and co-workers and nearbys and tell them what kind of a person they are. At United Collection Bureau it is told upon management for us to do this. i worked there.
I know that i found god i feel its my duty that justice be served to the United Collection Bureau inc. I am a witness to many of the laws that were broken in order to get them to pay, I to confess the laws i've broken forced by the company and the pressure to make them money. I have been threaten by Sanju K Sharma vice president,said that if i was to leave the United Collection Bureau inc. he would make sure personally that know other agency would hire me for collections(I have this on tape).
The reason why he was threating me is because United Collection Bureau was aware of a situation that had took place at the work at the work place 12-16-05, I was threaten to be killed and my family to be killed by a man named Jose Gabriel Ramirez (ss# deleted see - below) who worked in the same office.
As a good friend I thought he was, he needed a roommate to help pay his bills so he knew this girl in new york that would help. Now his idea was to hook me up with her all so his girlfriend (Vanessa) would not get jealous of her living with him. well she gets here and she brings her boyfriend with her, we didn't know so he tells me anyway "oh well she had herpies anyway" and knew about this for 5 years now. I got upset and i asked her if it was true she said yes. She got upset and told him i asked.
He then tells Joe Mccarthy (regional manager)he was gonna kill, Joe Mccarthy told him to do it in the parking lot and not in work. He then calls on 12-16-05 to make his threats( i have it on tape).He did it all day on 12-17-05 (sat). Then 12-18-05 sunday was a mandatory work day, i go in to do my work,while working i get a text from Jose Ramirez (i have proof)"keep f***en wit my money!" So what i did is inform a supervisor coutard desir aka Mr. Murphy that i was being threaten and i would like a report made for my safety .
He didnt take me serious even when Jose Ramirez approached me on the floor about how he is gonna kill me (ucb has this all on there video cameras)but refuses to use it to help protect me. I also called monday morning 12-19-05 to tell them i was in fear for my life i talk to barbara greene at around 11:30am she told me to for get about it and theres nothing u.c.b can do to help,so i bring a knife to protect myself cause of all of the text messaging ive been getting know one at work espcecially Sanju k Sharma does not wants to see or hear my explaination that i was in fear for my life.
All they did is write me up for the weapon (it was only a little knife) and fired me claming i'm the one that was wrong for being in fear for my life, i had warned them priviously about the threats and they turn it around fired me instead not realizing i had recorded all the threats Sanju K Sharma said to me and the threats of my life and family life being threaten by Jose Ramirez one of Sanju k Sharma close associates that is the dirty part of the business.
I lost my job and i did nothing but try to protect myself since management wanted to do nothing. Now i'm going through emotional distress and my family is also in fear for there lives during the holidays its not feeling like christmas for us worrying about our lives.
I came to the vice president sanju k sharma of the company he said to me anything i say, my word he spits on. That hurts cause i've been there since day one i was the very best collector in the business i guess you can say i was the evilest in the business next to Sanju k Sharma I served him well but not now i found god and i see what they make me do to break the law or threaten to fire us if we didnt listen.
Also i have been working over time and they have not been paying me time and a cfgv half for my extra hours just straight hourly pay, United Collection Bureau inc refused to pay me my time and half pay. its all on record for years now they have been doing this not just me to lots of many other people.
What i really want is justice to be served if there are any attorney that could possibly help me with this case cell me jalon (phone number deleted - see below) we really have one especially United collection bureau inc is contracted with citigroup, the person in charge of giving u.c.b there business is Glen Brady office address: 904 white eagle cirlce saint augustine, fl 32086-4321 (904) 797-4196. Anyone who is upset about United Collections Bureau inc tactics please call Glen Brady head of the tallahasse citigroup office call then to make your complaints.
As a collector i am willing to testify what really goes on especially how sanju k sharma make his management team do his personal things at home work he treats them like slaves and i wouldnt be surprised if sanju k sharma and Joe Mccarthy had sexual relations with members of the staff like barbara greene & sacha hummel theses are married women tempted by money, justice needs to be served to sanju and his evil men who needs justice to be served . if someone help me and i can get you so much more testimonys and other incedents.

I have had some financially difficulty the past few months and am wary of collection calls, have changed my phone # to an unlisted one and have a cell phone. Since my cell phone # is known I do have an app called Call Control Pro which will block "black list" calls.
I have had a great credit rating for years and have been hit with hospital bills and less income at work and would pay if I could. I just don't want to be harassed or asked when I am going to pay, because I don't know. I need to pay my House Payment, Utilities, Property Taxes, food and accounts in good standing. So yes I am making it hard or nearly impossible to be reached by telephone.
Yesterday I see a number come up on my cell phone which is a general switch board for the multi-national corporation I work for. Being suspicious I let it go to voice mail and it is not from my company but is a message from United Credit Bureau asking for me to call a number after a disclaimer to not listen if I am not the intended caller. Obviously I don't call back. Today I get a call that the Call Control blocks because it is just "419" and shortly after another call from "my company's switchboard" comes in with another message to call UCB. I obviously am blocking that number so that they don't get my VM anymore. So I do some research on UCB which has offices in Toledo Oh in the area code 419 and find that reports of calls from them using this spoofing tactic from other people on whocalled.us website. I also started reading other boards including this one to find that this kind of spoofing is actually illegal.
What is funny is that since I don't work in an office but instead out of my house remotely UCB doesn't realize that the home office doesn't call me, but I deal with an office in Philly. Since my cell phone is not company issued but my personal account I became very suspicious about the whole situation until I found this site. These guys are scumbags and may God help them if they call any of my family members or my employer as I know where their office is in Toledo.
The bottom line is that people are not tied to land lines and fixed phone numbers and the law protects us from harassment so companies like UCB are resorting to these tactics. I am not taking your calls and won't sign for any certified letters so go pound sand UCB. By spoofing your number you have made this personal and this is war which you will lose you greedy bastards. I don't have the money to pay and I am not selling my house or assets because this is not a secured debt and you can't make me.

My name is John L. and I worked for UCB in Fort Lauderdale. Actually Mr. Sanju Sharma does not get involved with anybody at anytime, but is rather to himself. I think he might even be married from what I heard. He is rather difficult to work for, but that is only if you are a director under him. He has done quite a bit to help everybody maintain their jobs in the company and if I ever went back to Florida, I would call his directors for another job.
The ex-employee that moved to jaxsonville should probably look to see what is missing in his marriage if his wife is speaking to other men.

Sanju just stays in his office and minds his own business unless the managers try to terminate people. then sanju steps in and does not allow managers to terminate people.

Sanju Sharma is a monster and a pig. He is a sick old man who takes advantage of poor young women. He offers them money or "gifts and gift cards" for sex. He tells them he cares about them and wants to help them and makes it real clear he is willing to help them in anyway he can no matter the cost.
He does not care if they are married, have an STD or whatever. He does not care if he gives them an STD. This is sick man, I guess when you have a 3 inch "member" you have to pay for sex.

I must add that if a collection agency is hiring someone with a criminal record then they cannot say they are completely helpless since they'd likely know what to expect. Moreover the actions that the above people states (the employees) violate the FDCPA. I'd likely record all their phone conversations and file lawsuit if they are not following FDCPA.

Contrary to this "employee's" comment, United Collection Bureau, Inc. does not have even a good reputation. A quick check of the facts and complaints with the Federal Trade Commission and many State licensing agencies shows almost infinite complaints. Also a quick check of the Better Business Bureau (see http://www.bbb.org/toledo/business-reviews/collection-agencies/united-collection-bureau-in-toledo-oh-7271) shows that this business has an "F rating). I have personally received phone calls from this company demanding to talk to a deceased family member about a collection matter for my son-in-law by a "Mrs. Riggins" and they have called back repeatedly after being told explicitly never to call my number again. They are calling and disclosing that they are calling regarding a collection matter for my son-in-law which is also a violation of Federal and many State statutes. The last times they have called I simply say "wait a moment while I record this conversation telling you never to call this number again about someone else's debt" and they immediately hang up. As an investigator for the Scammer Database Organization, I did some research on this company and they have a pattern and practice of using unprofessional and illegal tactics and the simple truth is that they "buy" accounts from many businesses and firms for pennies on the dollar. Often these debts are near or at the state statute of limitations on collection. This firm often then uses abusive and high pressure tactics trying to collect the full amount plus interest and penalties that they arbitrarily come up with which often multiply the original debt by many times. This simple truth of the matter is that this company is known for its abusive and outlawed tactics and to say that they have an excellent reputation is to blatantly lie.

'PREY UPON' THE INNOCENT PEOPLE LIVING IN THE USA, in my opinion. Most companies in America have only one goal: To make money anyway they can, including ways that utilize- FRAUD, DECEPTION, LIES, MANIPULATION, & DEEP CORRUPTION.

What's this? I don't know a whole lot about how things go in the US offices, but I can tell you it doesn't sound much diferrent than Costa Rica. I worked at UCBs San Jose office for over a year in the Resurgent area. A few of the special managers from the US came down and brought their drug habbits and other vices. My manager had an afair with a collector and he was promoted to supervisor which led to an uprising and 40 people being fired, including the manager.
When all the chips fell I was left for a short time to train the people that would replace me at half the price. I had the carrott waived for over a year and did my work well. At the end things were unbearable.
I was amazed at how the company did not take anything serious seriously. One of our collectors was arrested for credit card fraud and made the front page of the newspaper here. They didn't fire him until 3 months later when we all started asking questions.
I had a lot of interaction with the people in the states. All of the collectors seemed like great people. I can also say we had some great people in Costa Rica. I heard a lot of fear from the US collectors about losing their jobs to us. At the end it looks like UCB doesn't care about any of its staff. Mr. Rickart would fly down to check on things but didn't care about any of our complaints. I here he has become so brave that he brings his girlfirend to the office now, bet Mrs. Rickart would like to visit. The manager that was in charge when I left was the biggest hipocrit I've ever met. She would pass out candy if you collected instead of a cash bonus.
It's sad because the first manager at the site that hired me was a great person and worked hard to build a good team. When she left and new managers came in it all fell apart. They brought in another company they own, APS Medical Billing which created more fear about changes in power. If you want to know what is scary about the that whole thing was the fact that these people had access to medical records for patients in the US. As collectors we all had to undergo HIPPPA training and were told that patient privacy was key. How can you run a place with peoples credit card numbers, medical files, and credit reports all over the place and allow someone on the front page to keep working there? Violations are something just don't care about, it's an acceptable expense.
I don't wish any of the US or Costa Rican collectors bad, but the management and owners should be examined.

Look people. I know PERSONALLY someone who worked there for over 10 years, and has over 30 years of experience in collections. This same person is now an Attorney for the IRS. So please do not take this information lightly, and believe in the credibility of what I am telling, THAT HE HAS TOLD ME as a LAWYER, and collection guru. United Collections is full of $hit. Just as other has said, they prey on the vulnerable. I used to be one of them. They would scare me to death. Up until six months ago, I was living on payday advances and overdraft because I let their LIES SCARE me. Entered into a debt management program that was regarded more threatening on my credit report than the negative remarks. I was so unhappy and depressed. And all this from someone STEALING MY IDENTITY. Thank God for my attorney advocate that I randomly met out of the blue. After I spoke with him, and other who verified this information, I kept my damn money. Hell, me making payments did not help my credit: IT GOT WORSE!! So, what was the point. This is when I discovered the truth: they are powerless as hell. They will say next to anything to collect a debt because they will get a commission of it.
They can use certain terms per the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Now, again, mind you that the individual who has told me this, is an attorney who collects for the IRS. Secondly, if you were going to be sued, it would be from the original debtors MONTHS before you account was SOLD. When they sell your account to a collection company, they are essentially throwing in the towel on collecting on your account. The cost to pay someone to call you, whether it is human or automated, and to file suit far outweighs the debt you owe. The debtor has charged of your account at this point, written as a bad debt accounting wise, and yes, have used it as a TAX WRITE OFF. So, all in all, they got their money. And, did I mention the term "sell your account"? Yes, the debt collection has paid for it, so of course they want you to pay it, while they have paid pennies on the dollar for it and want to make a profit.
Likewise, as soon as the AGENT says they are an attorney, ask them for their "bar number". Now brace yourself for a hearty laugh folks as the call grows deathly silent. This bar number is assigned after that alleged attorney PASSES THE BAR EXAM IN THAT RESPECTIVE STATE to be regarded and practice law. A REAL ATTORNEY will be able to spit that out like their ABC's. This is the tactic these idiots at UCB use until this very day. They rant and rave from thousands of mile away, because at the end of the day, they want to make a extra buck. So, while they sit there, add stress to your life over perhaps and unfortunate, unexpected event occurred in your life that you were unable to pay your bills you become fearful. This is because due to an unexpected event, you feel vulnerable; and they play off that. After of years of timely payments, six months later, your good history means nothing. So, play them at their own game.
When you get a call from a number you don't recognize, do yourself a favor, and send them to voicemail. Google the number to identify the caller. As soon as you determine if a collection company, be smart and not communicate with them. Your communications can be used against you. So, why help thieves steal from you?! If your voicemail is setup to say your name in the greeting, take that off, and let it state the phone number. That why, they have no why to verify who they are trying to reach. It's absolutely no point in talking to them. They just want to scare you. If they were really trying to pursue you legally, you would get a CERTIFIED LETTER U.S. MAIL! Not make pointless attempts to call you with you being aware of it.
However, if you do venture out to call them, record your calls. Their are several AFFORDABLE programs you can get to do that. Let them hang themselves on tape.
When they do, the ball is in your court. Continue to let them do so. Each call is a fine. And these employees are so clueless, that they continue to repeat the same behavior. This is illegal, and you can file suite against them. Now, they collection company will fire that employee, and swear to heavens they were NOT trained to do what they were indeed TRAINED TO DO. They fire the employees in to appear in good faith. So, the silly employee, yes will be getting SUED all alone. And the company will be fined. I know former employees who have been sued, and the company they worked so hard for is nowhere to be found. So, let them call you a good 20 times, by then they have been fined well over the principal of your debt, and you are not responsible. When they are fined, it documented that they violated your rights, therefore voiding any prior agreements = removal from all credit bureaus.
Also, the best is to ask them to validate your debt. If they can't (and believe me UCB can't) they can not prove you owe the debt, and must remove it from the bureaus by FEDERAL LAW. Does not differ state-to-state. They will send out a notice saying it's OFFICIAL when it's not. So, go to the original debtor. If it does not match up, or the original debtor does not have your account, you are not legally responsible for that
debt.
Once it becomes apparent to you that the debt can not be validated, send a cease-and-desist letter to that company, your local Better Business Bureau, Attorney General, Federal Trade Commission, and the company where the debt originated from. ALL CERTIFIED MAIL with receive receipts. If possible, scan all documents for your records. Then, send this to your all credit bureaus. If the company has not corrected your credit report, then file a fraud report with your local law enforcement agency. This constitutes FRAUD on the part of the company, which is a CRIME.
I am saying this as TRIED and TRUE PROVEN methods. The economy is horrible. Don't let these credit companies who have received government money, misused it, and abuse their ethical obligations force you into a corner. If you can't pay, you can't pay. Conglomerates do this as we have all seen over the past year. The rule of thumb with collections companies, is the more they try to scare, the more evident it is that they are losing ground and time in making collection on the account. So, if they same to be relentless, you THREATEN them with KNOWING YOUR RIGHTS.
And, they will die off. And for the UCB employees that will rebut this; and for those consumers who are unsure, please go to the link below that exposes the collections companies at their worst illegal behavior. Then you will be relieved. Dateline aired this earlier this year and it's very INFORMATIVE!

I Had a run in with UCB

Hey everyone,
I am in debt to Citibank and a couple of other cards for mainly medical bills. I have a wife who has had 18 surgeries and no matter how much you plan, you cannot plan for that. I got behind a few months and got a call from UCB. I knew there was no way to come up with any payment plan because my wife and daughter are both going to have more surgeries...there is no rest for the weary... I listened and got the phone number. I did a google search of the number and it came up UCB. I did another google search on UCB and presto, I found this site. I read up on some information and did other searches and found out some of the lawsuits filed on them. I finally called UCB back and I got turned over to Mr. Barringer. He started off asking me if I had "representation." I knew what kind of sleaze bags they were thankfully from this site. They were subtly threatening law suit the whole time. I told him that I could not pay anytime soon due to the fact that my wife and daughter are due to have surgery. He tried to say...but look you only owe on 2 outstanding debts...(that is all the debts I have but they are big due to the medical bills). I said yes but I don't expect you to care plus I know who you are and I know what you have been sued for. He tried to shut me down and I refused to be pushed and finally he said, "I can see you are a bitter person and just want to lashout and fight so I am going to turn you over for litigation, and you will no longer be contacted by telephone." I live in Florida (new here) and I am self employed and my wife works and has the health insurance. I found out that in Florida they cannot garnish the head of household that would be my wife since she has the largest taxable income and I have some huge business deductions that I have very little taxable income and it is impossible for them to garnish me since I don't earn a wage and my wife is the head of household. Our home and assets are under the Florida homestead so I knew anything the threatened me with legally is toothless. Anyway....that was my story...just wanted to let you folks know.

I have never worked for a collections company before. However I do know that a collections agency can try anyway possible to convince a debtor to pay. Federal guidelines only recognize what time of day a collector can call. Every collections agency is the same way. I was scamed by a company last year and when I did not pay them I was sent to collections. They tried the same tactics. After I just ignored them, they finally got the picture. Fortunately for me they were just giving empty threats.
So don't take it personally when I say that all collection companies are the same. If consumers joined together to complain about the loose federal regulations of the collection industry maybe there will be a change. Until then, there is nothing that can be done.

This is from the Federal Trade Commissions website. I copied some of what collectors are NOT allowed to do to potential debtors. Alot of what is here is what UCB collectors DO say and do to people. I know, I have it on tape. If anyone wants to see all of this, go to FTC site and then go to fair debt practices. here goes:

in regards to Rick's silence.

Yes , I have also been waiting patiently for Rick's reply. I belive the reason he had not replied is that His boss has told him to stop. I have tapes of UCB collectors and thier supervisors. I was disabled and all my debts were medical. I had to wait until Medicaid came through, and then I called UCB to take care of those debts. Not all of them could be taken care of, and there is nothing I can do about that. All other agencies have been understanding to a fault. Not UCB. Therefore, having been in the business for the last 15 years,and knowing the FDCPA rules and regulations, I wrote to the FTC and BBB> and got letters from both telling me UCB could no longer contact me. I also sent a cease and desist letter. I did what I could to settle with UCB. But I do agree that UCB uses threat tactics to scare debtors. I have the proof on tape. The letters I have plus the proof on this site as to what Rick threatend to do with my old accounts is all I need to take them to court if he pursues. I have read many of his posts on this site and think he finally realized just how deep he was getting himself in, as what you post here cannot be deleted. I was in no way fighting with him, He made it personal.

Tracy and all above- Ricks last post is a perfect example of why UCB is not respected in the collections world. I myself am in the collections/financial world and have been since '99. I also have had to endure UCB and they are not pleasant nor do the cooperate with anyone.
But Tracy its funny to see that Rick has yet to reply to your posts but I do believe that his was a perfect example of why we all are complaining on UCB, they way he just posted is only mild to they way that UCB employees talk to consumers.

also this rick. I have already been through it with collector Jim at ext 225. You company has been warned by certified letter to cease and desist. If you even THINK about bringing up my old accounts dear, I will have your butt in court so fast your head wont have time to spin. I have recorded tape of jim and his supervisor denise. I also have a letter from the FTC, and BBB that stated Jim was reprimanded. I know what I am doing here rick. you do not, I have your written proof right on this site of what you have threatened to do with my accounts. I have a brain tumour that is inoperable, along with other things that have made my life h**l. I am not able to work anymore. I could use some extra money. Just try me. You really think you know me, huh? Well, maybe I should tell and set the record straight. I have worked in collection for 15 years. I have worked in fraud, Securities, and legal. I do belive that gives me the right to be able to tell crap companies from the reputable ones. I have on tape collectors from your so called wonderful company that yell, scream, threaten, say they are attornies, say they can take everything you own, say they are suing you. I have told people that once a collector says they are suing you , they have 30 days by law to do it.
If not, then the debtor can sue them. Collectors are liable for up to 500 thousand dollars. I know every part of the FDCPA . Maybe , Rick, if you read the FDCPA you might be saying things that are true and actually make sense. And yes, UCB is at the bottom. This company has no morals whatsoever. call me uniformed if you want to, but 15 years in the business tells me I know alot more than you do. run on back to UCB little one. with your standards I am sure you couldnt get a real collector job.

Rick Rick Rick. If there is zero tolerance for law breaking in your company, why are there so many identical complaints? Even your own collectors here state while they air their dirty laundry that UCB covers up violations. This is not rogue employees. I am sitting here doing my research for a co-worker who is filing suit against UCB and at least 5 different collectors who work there!
Rogue employees? I think not! So why am I am involved? I spent 10 years as a collector for an agencey with ethics and the crap and violations I keep hearing about blows my mind! Threatening arrest on voice mails, pre-legal calls with no intenet to sue, third party disclosure; the list goes on and on with serveral different collectors. According to a sane collector who left the Florida office because he couldn't stand the law violations, this stuff is a daily occurance.
Anybody interest in a class action suit post here. Maybe Citibank will see the light!

Tracey, you should do your research. My company is very reputable and in fact is a leader in the collections industry. When clients decide to use us they think of our 47 years in the business, top of the line training programs, acclaimed management staff and an overall reputation as an honest and hardworking agency! There are rogue employees within any company but UCB is different. There is a zero tolerance policy when it comes to law breaking and my fellow employees know they will be without a job if they test this rule.
Again, I am not saying there are no rule breakers. Just last week we actually had an employee who wore jeans on a Tuesdayimagine our horror! Tracey you say you worked (past tense) in the financial world. You sound more like a get on the bus and bash kind of gal, a follower if you will (bottom feeding collectorshow original). It must be difficult to sit around all day, probably not working, trying to come up with that next big get rich quick schemeyou are barking up the wrong tree. Collection agencies are here to perform a service for the leaders in the business world! We are not for, how did you say, bottom feeders such as yourself to make a buck on. Get a grip, life, job, or whatever is available to get you motivated about your life and out of ours. We are hard at work here; I cannot believe I just wasted 3.5 minutes on a rebuttal to you when I have consumers to assist!

I worked for Citibank and cannot imagine they woul d want to be anywhere close to involved with a third party collection agency that is told to do anything to get the payment from the client. The illegal collection practices that Jay states occurs in the UCB Florida office happened to my friend. In fact on 2 occasions it was Mr Torres himself who commited the FDCPA violations! Thank you!

Since the whole crew is here maybe I can make a point here. This rhetoric is the same that you use with your clients. Due to circumstances with me moving from Orlando to Ft. Lauderdale, I lapsed on a single bill of the 10 or so that I deal with with a permanent address 200 miles away from the hotel I live in in SFL. When calling my parent's house in Orlando, these idiots suggested to them that I was in jail. That's really some way to collect a debt. When they finally left a phone number after about 20 calls to my family, I called back to pay the debt immediately. Then I call the debtee a month later to find out that United Collections wrote a BAD CHECK IN MY NAME. So with the money I paid, what did you guys do with it? You figured I wouldn't follow up and you could get away with it. Well, I think writing a bad check in my name is illegal and I'm consulting with lawyers now. Well, I'm in Davie now and I might just take a trip over to your office so you can provide me with documentation of the check clearing to the debtee..

Hey guys keep going we almost have enough for a novel.
This reminds me of an old Mexican lullaby How many Pink Elephants can you see after you drink 1 gallon of bleach and pop 3 bottles of xanax (zanax)
Seriously on a somber note there are no little green men under the desks at UCB.
They have left to go to Mars when you left? All became space cadets in the new order of things and since joined the mother ship.
The mother ship is desperately seeking one of their own, and so it patrols Sth Florida searching for products for their world namely glue guns video surveillance cameras and yes you have guessed it video tape???? But settle the paranoia the are looking for that guy that's on the Price Is Right so come on down BoB. You see on Mars Bob Burgers are a delicacy and washed down with some brake fluid a meal fit for a Kwing { King in English) Now where were we J somewhere between deep paranoia and everyone out to get me?? Or is it the same thing I need to check Freud.
Well be assured we called the exterminators in and all the little green men have gone except the one that sits on my shoulder I have kind off adopted him he now calls me daddy. Which is kinda strange you see we are biologically different he is like you in a lot of respects a pleb Green slimy and has no brain to talk of. So I guess you may be related in some far off corner of the galaxy.
There is such a vast difference between reality and the world that some of us chose to live in.
Personally I like to keep the little green men in my own cupboard and prefer not to share them with a world that does not understand me??? Fiction is a wonderful thing I wish I had some to share with you.
Keep up the good work though I am afraid that the Oscar performance is not quite up to it.
But then I guess there will be years in which to reflect what might have been.

I thought you all would appreciate an update on Mr. Jalon Carlos Torres. This is especially for "Marc" of Hawaii who bought Jalon's lies hook, line and sinker. It seams that our deranged butt of everyone's joke has been up to his criminal acts for many years, back to 1998 as a matter fact. He would have been 20 years old when he started this terrific reign of criminal, drug induced, acts. Keep in mind that this is only his ADULT record...I am sure there are criminal acts as a minor as well. I hope I have enough room but here it goes:
1998 - 2 counts of "carrying a concealed firearm"
1998 - 1 count of "open carry of weapon" and
1 count of "carrying a concealed weapon"
1999 - 1 count of "possession/sell/deliver of Alprazolam" (otherwise known as Xanax, pronounced "zanax", which is considered a teenage killer by many governing agencies..nice one Jalon! How many of our kids have you infected with this garbage?)

1 count of "possession of drug paraphernalia"

Jalon is a sick man. He forgot to tell you all how he harrassed and threatened several employess (some of who are listed above)He has admitted that he is a "Crazy Man" He has followed employees and called family members threating them as well. He has 3 restraining orders against him, and a pending criminal mischief felony against him. The comapny has filed a restraing order as well. He has harassed clients and employees. He is mad because he was fired. UCB does not condone ilegal practices. Jalon's personal file is filled with several write ups of HIM breaking the law for his own low self esteem problems. All the things discussed in here, is what he did, not the company. If he has all of this infomation, and tapes... why not call the police or get an attny. Why put it on here. desperate jalon torres threatens death

I am writing this message on behalf of myself and several other, current, UBC, Inc. associates. Mr. Torres admittedly brought a weapon into the work place effectively endangering the lives of many employees, most of which are married and with children. Mr. Torres has openly spoken of his "mental conditions" in which he has admitted taking medications to try and control. Mr. Torres was just released from his drug-based probation in which he was convicted of felonies. There are many of my peers who tell of his behavior outside of the workplace as erratic, disturbing, and anti-social. Once terminated, Mr. Torres went as far as "skip tracing" information on collection managers, Sr. Operation Managers, Vice Presidents, owners and UCB's clients. He has called fathers, mothers, wives and children of all ages, threatening to "cut them up", "kill their family's so they never see a Christmas", and "end em'all." More disturbingly, Mr. Torres has been seen stalking peers at airports (coming home from their holidays), their homes and most recently (today) driving and following an associates from West Palm Beach to the office, almost an hour ride. During this incident he cut-off, drove up to the bumper, and forced the car to the side of the road, all while "text" messaging his attempt to harm her. There have been several police reports. Three employees have filed for restraining orders through Broward County because they fear for their lives. On Christmas day, at 1:10pm, this mentally unstable x-"friend" went to my workplace and used Superglue to render all of the exterior locks useless. This cost UCB well over $2k in damages because they are high security locks. As it is no secret, there are in fact many, 18 in total, interior and exterior cameras throughout UCB. I am happy Mr. Torres mentioned this since he is the star of his own criminal acts being caught on tape. You got it, the so-called "top collector" is actually an uneducated, obvious by his unintelligible e-mails, low life that performed the "gluing" while on tape. He did not even attempt a disguise! This has been turned over to the Davie police and a felony charge of Criminal Mischief will be filed. Thanks Mr. Torres, you almost cost us our goals due to a lost day of production. Lost goals equals lost income. Income my family counts on to eat and live. Once again, your lack of education has led you to a life of selfishness, lack of remorse towards others, and general self-hatred. Why else would you do such horrendous things? You mentioned God and that you have found religion...what a joke. My friends, and my managers, fear for their families and their livelihoods. What kind of Religion do you practice, Sadism? You mention in your e-mail that UCB is such a law breaking and horrible place to work. You say we are "brainwashed" employees. One question, did it take you three years to figure this out? Certainly a "top collector", such as yourself, could find work anywhere with your skills. Why submit yourself to this cruelty for three years. UCB has been around for 46 years and has an impeccable reputation! I am proud to be an employee of such an upstanding, caring, and well run organization! It is a shame that a forum such as this has been provided for an obviously "disgruntled" employee who cost himself a
