I contacted united tax group to get info on their services. A person named russell contacted me several times trying to get me to hire their company. He told me that they can make my payments to be only fifty dollars a month then after 10 years the irs can not collect. so i hired the company, the fee was $2,400.00 in january of 2012 i made 3 payments of 800 dollars. oh i forgot they have a investigation fee for 395 dollars to get your records from the irs . you pay that first then they tell you what they will do. they seemed like they did not do no work until they had the 3 payments of 800 dollars. so at the end of march and the beginning of april is when the started to work on my case. I already was set up on a payment plan of 450 a month to the irs that i did myself. but trying to pay my current taxes and pay my back taxes was not working. i need to make my back tax go away or a less amount. so after several months in june i was told that the irs will do payments for 341 a month wow 450 to 341 and it only cost me 2400 plus 395. they tried to get it reduced more but the irs denied the request and they just called me here last week in august 2012. they said they will try and appeal again but i do not think the irs will consider it. they told me in the beginning to not make any more payments so my account will go in to default and they will get me a new plan. so i did not pay the irs for 7 months and this is what they have done to me. i owe more penalties and late fees and my tax bill is getting higher. dean drouin took my money and now he sold that company and has started a new company tax help md, russell who sold me my deal had quit after 2 months when i call i get the run around now i find out that dean is no longer the owner and he owns a new company. it is pretty obvious what he is doing. raymond,childress,texas

This is Dean Drouin with Tax Help MD. I would like to address any issues you claim to be having with the services provided by United Tax Group, however you never told me there were any. The accusations you are making about why I started my own company are unfounded and if you had called me on my new number (888) 632-4506 that has been clearly advertised everywhere, I would have explained my reasons to you and also would have helped you resolve the tax issues your experiencing to your satisfaction with no additional costs to you.
I have 17 years in the Tax Resolution industry with the sole desire of helping as many people as I can. I'm sure you can understand after being in the industry for so long I have literally helped thousands of clients. Out of those THOUSANDS of clients there have only been 3 complaints with one of them being yours. As for the other 2, it was later discovered that one of them was fake, meaning it was not actually written by my client.
It was written by a disgruntled employee pretending to be my client. My client was so upset that something negative was written about me using his name that he took it upon himself to write a letter to Ripoff Report and have it notarized letting everyone know he didn't write the letter and that he's very happy with how I worked with him. The second one was written in haste by a client who was away on vacation and didn't realize I was trying to contact him the entire time he was gone so I could refund his money because his case wasn't something I could help him with.
He also wrote a letter to a Ripoff Report retracting everything he said. I have attached pictures of these letters to prove what I'm saying is true. So again out of the thousands of clients I've helped over the years, YOU are the first one to write a complaint about a problem I never even knew you had and you've included my new company's name of which you are not even a client. All you had to do was call me and I would have been more than happy to help you in any way I can.
I only found out about this report yesterday because another potential client of mine said he was looking me up on the internet and saw this report. Since the report does not have your last name in it I have no way of knowing which "Ray" you are. I called United Tax Group after learning about this complaint and asked the person I spoke with if they knew who you were and why you were making such accusations? I was told they had spoken to you a few times explaining the reasons why I am no longer with United Tax Group but you refused to listen to them.
I have only heard this information second hand because it was late Friday afternoon before the Labor Day weekend so the owners of United weren't available at the office with your file in front of them. This being said I do not have all the details on your case but have been assured by United Tax Group that they will go over the file with me so we can address this together and hopefully rectify this situation to your satisfaction.
Even though I feel I should not have to explain to the world why I left United Tax Group I want to be very clear that it was an amicable separation. I am not starting companies and selling them only to start new ones as you are suggesting. Believe me, the last thing I wanted to do was start all over again. Several years ago my wife and I came up with the idea and started United Tax Group with the help of investors/partners.
It was my tax industry knowledge, our hard work along with their money and business management that made United Tax Group the success it is today. I was never the sole owner of United Tax Group. I was only a minor share holder. This being said, I obviously couldn't sell a company that I'm not the sole owner of as you suggested. I simply asked the investors/partners to buy me out. Again if you had called me, I could have explained all of this to you without having to tell the world about my personal life.
Since I am no longer with United Tax Group, I do not have immediate access the their files anymore and have no way of trying to look up who you are or what your phone number is. Otherwise I would have already called you and tried to help in some way as I mentioned earlier with NO ADDITIONAL COST.
I don't understand why anyone would go through all the trouble of writing such a lengthy and slanderous complaint about me without first calling to let me know there even was a problem. This being said, I am still offering to help you in any way I can. I have always helped my clients to the best of my ability and will continue to do so. I have many happy clients that will gladly verify this.
