Don't let thees people into your home or your wallet! You'll be sorry! They installed a central A/C system in June of 2009 and we have had nothing but problems since. I first noticed the outside condenser had a BIG dent in one corner. Instead of telling the customer about the dent; they just installed the unit sideways to better hide the damage and walked away. I had to argue with them and finally they replaced the dented cabinet and turned the unit facing the proper way. The contract called for replacing the old pad for the outside unit; again I had to fight with them to change that. The attic space was left like a debris field with the old air handler plenum cabinet scrap parts just thrown about. Once again they came out to clean up their work area. The hallway ceiling air intake vent, that should have been replaced, was falling and fit poorly. Once again they had to respond to correct something they should have done at the onset. The biggest thing, if these in and of themselves are not big; is they delivered substituted brand name equipment and installed this off brand merchandise without the consumers knowledge or consent. They offer Amana brand products; but install "other" brand merchandise. They get you to pay for and believe you are getting "Amana" and you get something out of the contract. Their written contract means nothing. They offer nothing but feeble excuses for everything. The installed system is so loud; it sounds like a jet engine. I had another company come in to evaluate the system and I was asked who did the work. The evaluating company stated "I can't believe anyone in business would install a system like that; I may have done work like that when I was 18 years old. Your biggest problem is they didn't hang the air handler; they just have it sitting on the ceiling rafters. Your other problem is the air truck needs to be larger to accomodate this air handler and you need two more vents". Finally I had my day in court (6th District of Patchogue NY) on 12/06/2010. Judgment in favor of plaintiff (me) and US Air was ordered to make restitution within 30 days. Here we are some 70 days later and still no payment from US Air. Consumer Beware !!!!!!!
