U.S. ENGINES sold us a 4.3 v6 engine had it in the water for 2 hours the motor made a rattling noise shut the engine down checked oil checked for leaks checked to see if oil was clear checked temp every thing was fine .started enginge increased speed went approx. 100ft. and there was a load clang and engine quit. tried to restart and engine was locked up .Towed the boat to shore checked fuids oil ,temp everything checked out ok .the next day diassembled engine and tried to send back. found out you can not speak to the warranty dept in person but owner Charlie silvers hides behind his computer so only communication is thru email. sent motor back and they claimed I had a cracked exhaust manifold. so I took the manifolds in and had them crack checked and they were fine but they still would not stand behind there worthless warranty. so I still have a boat that will not run and out 2800.00. after checking on the internet more closely I found out they do not have the BBB rating they claim and have numerous claims and law suits against them apparently from what I have found is ripping people off with there worthless warranty is the norm. buyers run and do not look back. we work too hard for our money to deal with companies like this.
