US Financial Resources, Adam called me and said I was being considerd for a grant for my new business (which I believed because I had applied). Adam said all i needed to do was verify my information (and he had everything), Internet

I was called by a young man calling himself Adam Roderickes from the U S. He said I was being considered for a grant I had applied for. I believed him because I had applied for a grant .  Adam said he just needed to verify my information (and he had everthing). He said when we were finished he would need my card number to pay $3.87 for the grant package.   When we were finished he said I needed to talk to this lady (can't remember her name) and verify everything. She got on the line and talked so fast I didn't understand her. 

Adam and this lady both talked real fast . They were Indian or something. They were very hard to understand. They went ahead and took an extra $9.95 from my card that I did not authorize.  I know it's not much money but that's not the point.  It's also not the first time it has happened to me. I was ripped off $280.00 by the same kind of people for putting malware protection on two of my pc's. But they are out of the US and that's another story.   When will I learn there are so many scams out there and who to trust? I'll give you some advice, don't buy any computer software from Solution Mantra!!!
