Basically, the salesperson in this case completely misrepresented various aspects of the service and also took my money BEFORE showing me the contracts' terms and conditions. He misrepresented the process for reserving a property and NEVER mentioned that a deposit of BOTH the US invest fee of $3995 and some other arbitrary deposit of $4000 or more are required to reserve a property. They also said that their "property advisor" would guide you and develop a plan of action -- this was a lie and sham as the property advisor does nothing more than forward everyone the same properties as they become available. Thirdly, the salesperson made me believe there would be "hundreds" of properties available, when in fact there are only a handful! Also, the salesperson told me that the company does not markup the houses they renovate, however I found one of their houses online for a lower cost, which means that they markup them up, and then lie about it! I feel totally defrauded by this company and simply want my money back. Instead of doing the honorable thing, they instead pressure me to buy some property. These guys are con-artists. Stay away!!!

Company agreed to refund my money -- please disregard original complaint below. Once I spoke to the right people (i.e. Lachlan McPherson), the Company understood my position and promptly refunded my money. This Company is not a scam, but a respectable company, feel free to give them a try -- just make sure you do your research. Best, Michael
