US Mortgage Bailout took $3000 from my husband and I for a loan modification which never happened and we lost our home. We were told that we are getting our money back but for the last 2 months no one returns calls or em La Jolla, California

I called this company back in 11/09 to help us modify our mortgage. We paid them $3000.00 in 2 payments. They saved our home once from being sold at auction in Dec/Jan. We were told we were approved and would be soon making lower Mortgage payments. Its now Feb. and still our loan in process but not to worry everything looks great this is what we were told for months. On June 15th our home was sold at auction we had no paperwork, phone call nothing from our current Mtg. company or usmortgagebailout! I called that day to us mtg bailout to find out what was going on they told me they would find out and get back with me.

That evening around 4pm they called to let me know sorry nothing we can do pretty much screwed!! We were promised our $3000 refund and to this day can not get an email or phone call back from this company! I believe they are complete scams and our taking peoples $$$ when they are down and out and looking for help. We were only 2mos behind and just wanted to be able to lower our payments and get back on track. Hopefully this will help others not to use this company and hopefully they get shut down! All we ask now is for them to refund our $3000 that we gave to them to provide a service and they didnt!!!
