US National Martial Arts Team Alliance & Sidekick Travel Jim Thomas Fraud Misreprenstation Centerville Indiana

My husband has been doing Martial Arts for over 20 years and competing in various Martial Art tournaments thru out the United States. In 2002 we receive a packet from the above organization stating that he had been appointed to the United States Martial Arts Team. That he could participate in the United States National Martial Arts Team World Cup Tournament in Cancun Mexico in January of 2003. The top four competitors would then advance to Athens Greece in 2004 to represent the USA during an open Karate competition to be held as an opening event to the 2004 Summer Olympic Games to be held in Athens Greece.

We thought this sounds to good to be true so we went on the Internet and checked out the Better Busienss Buerau and found nothing. So we decided to go thru with it. We scraped up the money and went. We thought that this would be a once in a lifetime opportunity for my husband and a dream to participate in the Olympics. So we went to the compition and my husband finished in the top four. We were excited he is going to the Summer Olympics we told friends and family. We have gone to many tournaments and never received your metals but we were told in Cancun that customs was holding the metals and Mr Thomas was working on getting them to us before we left for the US. We never received the metals before we left.

When we returned home we did not hear anything from Mr. Thomas or even the metals months went by nothing finally my husband contacted Mr. Thomas and he said that he would mail them nothing.

After my husband had talked to Mr. Thomas he had a bad feeling so I E Mail the Olympic Commitee and asked them if they knew anything about this, they said no. Then we received a packet from Mr. Thomas and it was for Greece Athens but it was going to be held at the end of March 2004 and it is a World Tournament. It has nothing to do with the Olympics.

My husband contact Mr. Thomas and asked him and he said that he never said that this had to do with the Olympics. But we have the documentation that he sent us Stating this. We had contact other people who had patricipated in this Cancun tournament and they told us that they want nothing to do with him either. Also, we found out that he never order the Metals for the tournament that he made that up about the metals were held up in customs. When we signed up for this trip we had to go thru SideKick Travel that is affiliated with Mr. Thomas.

I beleive that is fraud and misrepsentation and we have been Embrassed to tell our friends and co workers that were taken by this conartist. I hope someone can help us get our money back and put this organiztion out of business.
