Due to me entering a contest last year around the middle of Novemeber. This contest allowed you to enter your email entry daily. The contest ended on 1/31/2006 so I was extremely happy to receive this form W-915 in the mailed stating that I had won and needed to respond within 7 day of this notification or that winnings would be forfeited.

I assumed that I had won simply because it line up with the time frame and of the legitimate contest rules. The legitimate contest also stated if I had won the contest that they would contact the individual by mail and that individual would have only 7 days to respond or the prize would be voided. All this lined up with the offical contest rules. The only thing is I didn't check here first and I wanted to bet the deadline and not miss out. Beware of the respond by dates.
