I just received an email telling me that they didn't take my money because the draft bounced.  Ha!  There is a good indication THAT I HAVE NO MONEY.  Well, and I refreshed their memory, they did indeed get their money, apparently they will continue to try until it does go through.  I wrote them back to let them know.  And I scanned a copy of the Claims report that shows the transaction and the fees taken out because of what they did.

I wrote Tamela from USA Benefits, and I don't really know if there is such a person because I receive a different email signed by her that came from the do no reply, auto response system.  So the customer service people are fake too.  Where does it end.  I expressed to her again the disappointment and sadness that I feel that a company (and who knows, it could just be a couple people out of their basement) will actually take your money from you, and most people don't even know it is going to happen til it's too late, and then turn it around on you as if you did something wrong and are now causing problems for the company.  Wrong, we the consumers (and I say consumers lightly because there is nothing to consume or receive or gain benefit from) are in reality, for the most part, dealing with another company altogether from the start.  In my case and in some that I have read about, it started with filling out the Payday Loan Applications, (which are an issue as well) and the banking information from that, the routing number, account number, bank name and phone number, your name.  Everything they need to draft your account.  And I have noticed that on some of the Loan Applications the actually is a box that is sometimes pre-marked  that is stating they they have your permission to draft the account and they will use that against you.  No everyone, probably not many people are even aware that that is happening.  So the transaction goes on unnoticed until the consumer is blindsided by a hefty draft from their account.  And, big advantage on the company's part, the phone are just a front to a company that is just a face on the internet.  It is like a poster, it may look real but in all reality it is just a picture.  This company is a front that takes money that is usually "tricked" into being authorized, the info stolen from another website, and then they will deny everything.  Stating you just can't get into the website until the first of the month, (I thought that was strange) or til you pay your first monthly draft, I have heard both.  It is a big cover up and I won't just sit back and let them call me the liar and try to pin the responsibility on me.  I just can't, I am standing up on behalf of myself, those who have also been scammed and are still trying to make in through using the computer with trepidation that it could happen again.  It is not ok and I want to do what I can to make it right, fair and honest.  The holidays are coming up and I don't believe that will make a difference to them.  They won't care if they take away the money that was saved up to buy some gifts for a child who doesn't have much, or that was saved to finally be able to get that ring for a loved one in love.  I, and I am sure many others, wasn't even saving it up.  It was just plain and simple the money I had left to last til the end of the month when I would be getting paid again.  They don't care how they have impacted the life of a fellow human being, just innocently wondering, probably, what on earth they did to mess up that way.  The truth is that we, the consumer didn't mess up.  Even if we up front agree to the charges and want to try the services, that doesn't make it ok.  They are NOT providing the product that they "are selling and advertising". They are outright LYING to make money from a most likely desperate situation.  The consumer is thinking "I really don't have the money right now, but it is a good way to help rebuild my credit and I do need to buy some things, this will make it easy and convenient and WOW, I get $2,500 credit to work with!"  That all sounds great, but it is just a picture, a poster of information, so substance behind it.  I remember the conversation I had with the USA Benefits representative, (who was probably someone sitting in the comfort of their own home, I doubt the company needs a whole storefront for the scam they are running).  The representative and I talked for a while.  She was very nice and enthusiastic and really made the investment sound worth it. I let her know about my confusion with the draft from my account, which I even told her I didn't know it was being taken out and I hadn't even actually ever heard of the company.  She very confidently assured me that many people forget what they did online till it shows up on a statement.  We laughed and I actually listened to what she was saying and I realized that I need to broaden my horizons and try something new. I figured the benefits of the program on my credit and as I have mentioned in the past, I was planning to move into an apartment practically empty handed.  So I would just purchase what I needed from them and build my credit and not have to pay it all in one chunk, I could make simple payments.  Sounded wonderful and they are counting on the consumer to, even after being initially shocked, to turn around and look at the situation, no matter how it happened, and express the agreement that they will perhaps try it.  Now they can try to use that agreement against you.  NO! Don't fall for that, the reason the refund is requested and the consumer is upset, is because it was all a LIE.  Sure they agreed on the transaction in some cases, (not all, there are hundreds and hundreds of cases where the consumer didn't even know about the company, never agreed and are completely blindsided) but that is not the whole problem.  The problem in this case is that they agreed to terms, conditions, products and services that will NEVER be rendered, as mentioned before, even the CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE DOESN'T hold any truth.   That is the basis for a refund, and for the consumer to step up and file a complaint.  This can't continue and be ignored.
