To start off, USA Express Movers messed up our pickup of furniture in AZ. They had confirmed our pickup to be on 02/03/05. On moving day, we were packed and ready to go and after waiting a few hours, called USA Express Movers to inquire on what happened to our appointment, only to be told that our moving date wasn't until 02/04/05.

When I called USA Express Movers on 03/04/05, to inform them that we found a house in PA, they told us that our furniture would be delivered by 03/18/05, and that the driver would call us 12 hours in advance of delivery. So, our family flew from AZ out to PA on 03/16/05, so that we could be here when the furniture arrived.

Again, nobody showed, nobody called! When we contacted USA Movers again, they told us it would actually be around 03/23/05 that we would receive our furniture. SO, now our family is stuck staying in a hotel and must dine out for all meals because we have no furniture. With kids, this is less than a pleasant situation. On 03/22/05, I again contacted USA Express Movers to find out status on our delivery, only to be informed this time that it would now be more like 03/30/05 before we received our stuff!

The staff and manager that I Have been dealing with are less than empathetic, completely unreliable, unorganized, unprofessional and complete jerks! I have told the manager that I insist on receiving some sort of discount on our move, since they have dropped the ball more than once and never contact us to let us know of any of their mistakes!!! These are the worst movers ever. I would discourage anyone from using them. They have cost us over $1,000 in hotel and dining bills...

The movers did an outstanding job in NH,above and beyond what they had to do.The crew in PA did a wonderful job as well. Everyone was so helpful,polite,punctual, andtook excellent care of both houses and our belongings. And a huge thanks to you for answering all my worrisome questions,phone calls,and emails.

Update On USA Express Movers- THE WORST!!

After I first reported my horrible experience on this site, it got worse! They continued to not deliver our items..and it was only upon my letting them know that I had reported them to the US DOT and complained with the BBB that they FINALLY showed up to deliver our items...When they did show, they told us that they needed the original credit card that we paid them the $600 deposit on before they picked up our stuff in AZ. So, we are talking about a transaction that took place over 2 months prior...Well, that card had been lost and a new one reissued, so we had no way to provide that. The driver of the truck would not unload until we either provided that credit card. After talking to the manager of the company (or, at least, someone who claimed to be the manager) and threating to get our attorneys involved, they told us that they were leaving with our stuff and would be back the next day...So, they left.

The next day they came back, charged us more money for the overnight stay and finally gave us the option of giving them $600 additional and they would refund the original deposit back to the credit card account. None of it made any sense, they had been paid long ago, so I still am baffled by what the problem was... Not to mention that I had spoke with the "manager" and the main dispatch girl at least 15 times during the transit of our things and not ONCE did anyone mention the original credit card used for our deposit money.

There were a couple missing boxes that were unaccounted for when they finally unloaded our things...

I have since learned that the US DOT has fined this company thousands of dollars for their business practices. These people responded to my BBB complaint with 100% lies and dishonesty. STAY AWAY!!! THEY ARE TERRIBLE!!
