 BEWARE OF SCAM BY A COMPANY'S CALLED USA TRAVEL PROMOTIONS,DEL REY TRAVEL,DVI,DESTINATION VACATIONS INTERNATIONAL,DREAM VACATIONS INTERNATIONAL, DREAMWORKS VACATION CLUB, SERENITY TRAVEL, FIVE POINTS, BENTELY and LA BONNE,MODERN DESTINATIONS UNLIMITED,World Vacations, SunCoast Travel, United Vacation Network,Royal Palm Vacations, USA Travel Services selling a DVI travel club membership.First you get a letter stating you will receive two free Airline tickets to anywhere in the continental United States just for touring their new travel agency when you call to confirm they offer you a $50 dining certificate which is actually only a discount from Dining Dough and you have to spend money to get the discount.First you have to sit through a 9o min presentation about their service which is a travel club that cost $9999.00 and offers unlimited discounted Trips including            Hotels,Resorts,Rental cars for 50% off.After the presentation they bring you in and office with a high pressure sales person and offer you a one time membership that usually costs $9999 for a discounted price of $5999 with a yearly membership fee of $249 and a one time fee of $299 to join.If you don't bite rite away to further convince you the salesman offers to pay for part of your first trip and gives you a voucher for $500 towards that trip. The company claims to offer discount Accommodations for Resorts,Hotels Rental cars and Cruises a full 7 day week in a 5 star hotel for $499.NOT TRUE. The company really buys unused timeshare weeks from a company called RCI and after reading the contract I realized that  all you are in-titled to is 4 weeks a year in a condo if and when available.The contract also says your privileges "MAY" also include great vacation offerings and travel discounts with access to inventory at reduced rates and that vender's other than "DVI" will provide these services and or products with additional benefits, terms,conditions and "PRICES".That is Definitely not what was represented in the presentation. I have researched the company DELREY TRAVEL in Valencia which seems to be associated with DVI,DESTINATION VACATIONS INTERNATIONAL,DREAM VACATIONS INTERNATIONAL, DREAMWORKS VACATION CLUB, SERENITY TRAVEL, FIVE POINTS, BENTELY and LA BONNE,MODERN DESTINATIONS UNLIMITED to name a few, and are owned by Daryl Turner and Eric Shuman.These company's are under investigation by the Attorney Generals Office in Delware and there has been a Lawsuit filed against these company's in New Jersey by the Attorney General. Now they have moved to Valencia California and set up their scam/operations. After my investigation I found that the airline tickets promised were not free they want you want you to jump through hoops to receive them with many restrictions and they expect you to mail a certificate that they give you along with a $100.00 cashiers check or money order to process your request and they claim the money for the tickets will be refunded but after researching on the internet other People are claiming that after they sent the $100.00 they still did not get their tickets. After further investigation other Members claim the company gives you your first trip at a discounted price using part of your membership money to make it look like a great deal.You pay them $6549 and they use a portion of the money to pay for your trip then act like their giving you a huge discount on your first trip to make it look like a great deal and they still make money.After the first trip they never deliver what they promise in fact good luck getting a call back to book a trip. 0611_Vacation_Club_Lawsuit YES !Unfortunately I sat through their presentation with my Wife and it looked like a great deal...I then like a dumb a*s fell for their scam.I gave them my credit card and charged $6549 for a membership to DVI. Then they offered to booked me a vacation at an unbelievable price and even offered to pay for part of the trip just for sining up I was ready to book the trip right then and of course the salesman wanted me to come back on Wednesday to book the trip so he could shop for the best deal.I signed up on Saturday and you only have three days to cancel your membership so I'm sure the salesman put me off until Wednesday so it would be 5 days later and would be to late to cancel the contract. I then went home and researched their company on the Internet and I figured out what they were up to.The next day Sunday I went to their office while they were having a presentation and demanded a refund.The manager tried to swoop me in his office so no one would hear me.He tried to put me off and tell me he would have to put in a request for a refund and it would have to be processed through the main office and would tak up to 21 days.I told him The cancellation policy stated I had three business days to request a refund and I'm here to get one. I told him if he didn't give me a refund immediately I would get loud and warn everyone in the presentation about the company's allegations and then would camp out in front of the office to warn everyone that came through the door about his company and wished him luck on making another sale. Of course he was able to give me a refund immediately.AGAIN PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY AND DO SOME RESEARCH BEFORE DOING ANY BUSINESS WITH "DEL RAY TRAVEL IN VALENCIA CALIFORNIA"
