SEO Reputation Management at its best!

I attended their glorified "make millions on the internet" seminar about a year and a half ago. I had a website (and still do) that I wanted to learn more about promoting. These guys that put on this seminar claim to be "Independant Reps" for usight.

I didn't know that at the time, only now that I have not been able to get ANY of the promotional packages that I bought for $1,880.00. One of these sales reps gave me his email rjudd35@aol.com and told me to let him know if I had problems with usight. Sure enough I had LOADS of problems with getting ANY service from usight. Then when I became disgruntled they demanded that I sign some "General Release" from their lawyer. I told them I can't believe it takes a general release to get service from you people and basicly told them to shove it.

Over the past year and a half I called them to get them to do part of the promotion package they sold me. They would say ya,ya we'll get right on it, and it takes about 6-8 weeks for the results to start showing up.

Now I would wait this time out only to discover that usight NEVER DID ANYTHING! Then I started taking down the name of the person who said Ya, Ya we wil get that service going for you only to find out once again it was never DONE. Turns out it did no good to take the persons name down as he just claimed "He did't recall our conversation" And after so many months the attempt to actually get a mangager resulted in many hours of ate up phone cards while on hold with usight.

After a year and a half of their run around I decided to start a coalition of people who got ripped off from these guys and put together their affidavits, get a lawyer who will take it on contingency, and do a media release that includes the bigger National "Expose" shows like 20/20 to get the word out so other will not be suckerd into this scam, and hopefully a settlement for the MANY people whom have been ripped off by USIGHT.

If you are one of those many victums contact me by using the rebuttal box, so that you can be added to the list of people who want their money back and just compensation for the wasted time and frustration!

Failure of Consideration

AUTHOR: Sandyn - (U.S.A.)

I don't know if individuals will have success trying to disparage a company like this. I own a company and have since put up a sophisticated website. But it's not the website I wanted. I thought SOL might have up-to-date marketing intelligence that subscribers would be able to leverage. Once I recieved the phone call wanting $10k more I new it was a scam.

Here is the basic text of what is know as a failure of consideration. I am submitting it tomorrow after final review of my particular complaint. I hope this might be helpful to some of you. Currently I've found an MBA is a better investment.

Sandyn - Denver

On your Company Letterhead --

Addressed to the culprit company

address. etc

Re: Contract Number -- or your Company name

Date of the Contact

To Whom It May Concern:

This letter will confirm that we are hereby revoking the above-referenced contract for breach of the agreement, failure of consideration and misrepresentation in the inducement of the contract. (or fraud in the inducement, if you want to press a hard line ???)

When this contract was proposed to us by your representative(s) (insert the month of the sales pitch), we were assured of the following services and projected results by your company ---

List a few of the sales pitch come ons that have gone begging ...

We (your company, you personally -- whichever) entered into this contract with (the name of the culprit company) in reliance upon these assurances. We have relied to our very costly detriment on false assurances. We have not received the promised services or projected results as described below.

Insert a few aggravating examples ....

We have honored our part of this contract for ____ months at a cost of $_____ , without receiving the promised services or results projected by your company. We deem this disappointing situation to be a material breach of our contract, if not a failure of consideration or misrepresentation. Rather than pursue litigation to recover our funds, we will agree to resolve our differences by this notice revoking our contract as of this date.

We trust this will meet with your approval. We are sorry that this contract did not work out for either of us as was intended.

RETRIEVAL OF FUNDS...PAUL YOU ARE TOO MUCH.HA.

AUTHOR: Jan - (U.S.A.)

Love the cordless drill part of your email...Was out of town and had a great laugh..Not only would we be out money, but would be go doing hard time as well...There were maybe 100 p eople at the seminar we went to and we talked among ourselves during breaks etc...None of them I or my husband talked to seemed stupid in any way ....The selling point for us...was the su pport and the "getting it out there for us"...which we did not know how to do...I have a business online that rents vacation condos and houses and my husband is in software sales and we both thought...gee sounds good having all of this info there and a large co. to help you along....I am not devestated by this but angry more than anything...We believed it was a good deal..unfortunately, did not check them out on line before hand...

The idea about going to a seminar at the hotel where the seminar is being held is not going to work...it's a crumb in the whole scheme...they would throw everyone out at the first sign of disruption ...

As much as I would love to pull out my handy dandy Black and Decker power packed drill etc...(ug) it's not going to happen...There has to be a weak spot someplace or a way to them and hopefully, get the $$ back..would be nice..HEY PAUL, WANNA DO THE JOB? Can overnight the power tools...Class action suits are out right? Now what....How do you threaten them without going to jail....exposing them on t.v. or something along those lines...Would they want that? Can't do extortion and not sure about the legal aspect, but does anyone have any ideas on that? Would love to shut those puppies down...Let me know..Paul, I'm actually starting to like you...ha...Jan In Miami

StoresOnline Scammed Me -- Singapore

AUTHOR: Fe - (Singapore)

I've been reading the messages in this thread and now know that I'm not alone in this horrible scam!

I signed up with them and when I tried to upload my site, did I realise that they had misrepresented information at the seminar.

I was led to believe that the 3 websites package I bought would include everything I needed to build my internet business... They told me that I could have my domain name and change it whenever I wanted to do so. Now I know that I actually have to pay extra money for a domain name!

I would like to get a full refund from StoresOnline.com and any advice and help on what I can do to get the money back would be appreciated.

I'm really very upset with this situation and I've lost SGD$2500 and the rest of the SGD$3400 plus interest that will be charged in their financing scheme.

Please help me.

Everything you need to know about storesonline is on the internet!

AUTHOR: Paul - (U.S.A.)

I didn't realize how widespread this fraud was. It's huge. Search google for SOL and usight. It's a widespread con. Maybe the feds will act on this after all. I underestimated the size of the problem. The feds need to put an agent in one of their seminars. Let him buy with a marked check, from an account established just for the sting. The agent can see how the frauds offer little or nothing. Hopefully, the FTC will get involved here.

I haven't been reading the fraud pages regularly. The s**t just depresses me. I was surprised just how much usight fraud there is.

Search for one web direct bill here. Read my long comment. It has all the federal sites to complain to. Skip the ones that are strictly phone related. File complaints on all the rest.

Trust me, after reading all the storesonline fraud here, I can tell you one thing for sure. They have already taken money from the wrong person.

Every hundredth victim has absolutely nothing more to lose in life. And, every thousandth victim has nothing to lose, and is homicidal crazy. With all the people who were cheated, they have already done business with the nut case. Several of them, most likely.

Now, it's just a matter of time. They move from city to city, peddling their garbage. Evidently, they have some blond porn w***e to sell to the men. When the crazy gets her, he's gonna gut her like a deer. That much you can count on!

Most victims stay home and yell at the dog, or beat on the wife and kids. But, the nut will get up and act. You don't get to commit as much fraud as these people do without selling to at least a handful of loons.

I almost feel sorry for the w***e. When the nut gets a hold of her, none of the money she made peddling web sites will be worth the agony she will go through. Oh well, live and learn. Or, in her case, not live and not learn.

GET EM WHERE IT HURTS - PRIDE AND WALLET

AUTHOR: Ivan - (U.S.A.)

Jan and everyone else,

One thing we could do to get the message out there, maybe not get our money back, but one thing we can do is make sure others do not get sucked in to their scam.

Try to find out when they will be visint your local area again. Look for the infomercial, call the hotels that you went to, when you went to see them and see when they will be there.

Get a decent size group, make your FREE RESERVATION, and go down, but with flyers in hand, advertising this website, and explaining how to access it.

Then when they let people talk, start talking about past experience and get people to notice you. That is why you go with a group so it is more then one person talking.

When I went in Ft. Lauderdale for the training after the items were purchased, there was a gentleman saying something about what was listed with the BBB. They escorted him out quickly, refunded whatever money he spent on the vacation voucher, but that was it. But they were able to smooth things over with everyone else.

I would be happy to do this with you if they are in Florida again.

We know they have a lot of money too. I don't remember, but did they have a Toll Free number? They may have money, but it costs them money every time that phone rings and it is answered. Imagine keeping them on the phone for 10 minutes a shot, or just 200 times a day times however much per minute they pay.

Like I said, they have lots of money, but it is extra money they are spending. Call their toll free line all day if they have one.

You've already done the most effective thing you can do. You came to Badbusinessbureau.com and filed a complaint!

AUTHOR: Paul - (U.S.A.)

That gives new people a chance to see the fraud before they get taken.

Now, whenever somebody googles usight, this ripoff report site comes up first. I did the same exact thing with One web direct bill. That's the name of the company running the modem dialer con. I put a long rebuttal on ever complaint page.

After a week, the search engines picked it up and indexed it. Next thing that happens is this site comes up in the top searches. So, instantly, people will see that one web direct is a total fraud.

It's the same with usight. This site will come up at the top of the search listings. People will read this page and other usight pages. Instantly, they will say f--- usight.

Here's the problem. Like I said above, some people spend first and think last. Usight knows this site is here. They won't let you have time to go home and think about their offer. They know you'll do an internet search. And then, you'll never buy. They're not stupid. They'll coerce you to commit right then and there.

Look at Mary, from Illinois. She admits she fell for the act now nonsense. There will always be people who do exactly the same as her. You'll never stop usight's income as long as people are willing to spend first and think last.

As for getting your money back, it's really not practical. Let me explain something. By hatchet method, I meant torture. I mean going over to usight and grabbing the main guy up. Then, tying him down to a table. You grab the hatchet, and boom, off comes a hand. It flops onto the floor. The usight loses control of his bladder. He's terrified beyond reason. He instantly gives up any information he has. I instructed another man to use the bone drill. In this method, you take a simple cordless drill with a small bit in it. You drill into the person's ankle, and continue in and up the leg bone. The pain is so excruciating that money means absolutely nothing anymore. They give back everything, plus some more besides.

Let me explain why I wrote that. I'm certainly not crazy enough to write in a public forum how I intend to torture anybody if that's my plan. I wrote this for the scare value. You see, usighs come here too. They read these pages and keep up with the victims. The thought that anyone would bind them down and torture them with a power drill is downright frightening. Most of the frauds laugh it off. But, there is always that subtle doubt in the back of their minds. What if a crazy victim reads this? What if he decides to get even? What if, huh? This terrifying thought lingers there. It f**ks up their day.

Like I said before, no lawyer will advise you to continue. There is not a high possibility of winning the case. Even, if you do win, the usight would just declare bankruptcy. You'd win a paper judgment. What the hell is that worth?

If you do go over and threaten them with torture, all you will get is the cash they have on hand. It's a cashless society now. What do you figure is sitting around the usight office? Maybe $1000 or so?

If you torture them into signing a blank check, you will just be convicted of murder and robbery. Premeditated murder. That's the worst kind. Bad idea.

As for bad publicity, you already have it right here. This giant site will come up first in the searches. It f**ks up their income, big time. But there are plenty of idiots who never check or search. Your buddy Scott is one of them. He admits that. Trust me, usight is selling the web counseling con as fast as they can make the phony sites. Fifty million last year. Another fifty this year.

So, they don't care about public exposure. The people who buy their fraud are idiots. Idiots don't read the papers or search the internet. Idiots buy now, and cry about it later. Usight knows this. They'll laugh at all your threats of public exposure. You'll never reach their new victims, and they know that.

Potential victims won't listen to you any more than they will listen to me. Remember what I said about the false hope theory? Picture this. A middle aged couple is struggling to afford their life. The house payment, the car payments. Food, clothes. Next month, Christmas presents. Now along comes usight with the fake web site con. Usight tells the victim that they have hope. They give them a way out of the poverty. They get them up and excited about life again. Instead of their bullshit jobs, they are going to be web millionaires! They buy every phony part of the business. Uwords. Ulinks. Uproducts. Even Uhemorrhoid cram to put on their sore asses after they get the f**king of a lifetime. For about three months, they are happy, hopeful, and excited again. It's false hope, yes. But, it's the only hope there is for these people. As cruel as it sounds, false hope is better than no hope.

So, see, you can't stop these victims. They are desperate to climb out of poverty. They are desperate to finally reach the American dream. They will do just about anything to achieve that. And, usight comes along and pretends to show them the way. Hell, the victims sell themselves. Usight just sits back and collects the checks.

So, feel free to try if you like. Put up a billboard right on the 15 freeway in Utah. It won't matter. The usights will laugh at you. The potential victims will ignore you. Usight is offering them a way out of poverty. Like the idiot above, the new victims won't listen to you and your negativity. Usight is offering them hope. What can you offer them?

The feds won't help you either. They laugh at you for being so stupid. You bought into the web site counseling con. They laugh at people that dumb. Help you? They're too busy with other problems to worry about some stupid fraud. Besides, like I said, the feds know that you will just hand your money away to the next fraud. The feds understand survival of the fittest. If you get eaten, then maybe you aren't one of the fittest. They feds can accept that just fine. They are not as stupid as I am. They don't try to change the course of nature.

Now, if you still won't go away, and you plan to hassle usight on the phone everyday, let me explain what happens to you. First, you will run up your phone bill. Next, the usights will get sick and tired of this. They'll have you arrested for harassment. Don't even think of making a death threat over the phone. You'll wind up in jail. Plus, sending usight a letter with flour in it is equally bad. The FBI will come over and search so far up your a*s that they'll see daylight from the other end.

I feel sorry for you Jan. I wish there was something I could tell you, as well as the countless other victims. I know how you must feel. Violated. They stole your trust, as well as your money. Now, you see why I call these pages the misery file? Now, you see why I tried to think of a way to put a stop to this?

Mistakes cost. This one cost you money. It cost you time. And, a lot of heartache. I suggest you end the payments, right here. Right now. Get on with your life. You have a web site. You have a business. Your life will go on. Make the most of what's left of it. Don't let this usight bullshit be something that defines you. Something that turns you into a bitter, angry person. Just be a little more wary the next time, that's all. That's what I do. I'm not the indifferent person that you accused me of being. I'm basically kind to others. But, I know that I need to be wary of strangers. Especially strangers that want to sell me something.

The time you spend on this earth is short. Today you're 30. Tomorrow, you are 40. I remember the 9/11 news coverage like it was yesterday. It was over 3 years ago. So, you see how time flies by. You will go on to make more mistakes in your life. It's unavoidable. We all do. Now that you've seen some of the darker aspects of society, you will know how to avoid them. That's what you need to stay focused on. The past is behind you. All you can change is your future. Remember that.

Best of luck to you all!

RETRIEVAL OF MONEY RIPPED OFF FROM STORESONLINE

AUTHOR: Jan - (U.S.A.)

HEY pAUL, Thought I was talking to the Creature from the Black Lagoon for a while..OK say we use the hatchet approach for retrieval....What would be the thing that Usight/Storesonline would fear the most? How about national exposure?

I understand they are certainly not stupid and would bury the money elsewhere, but the idea is to get them to UNBURY IT AND get rid of the pains in the butt...Y ou have some good points, but want to know (there has to be a way) how do we expose them nationally and let them know without going where Martha Stewart is only for extortion...

I don't have 20 hr. a day to spend on this but want to go after th em, letters don't work...the AG of the US can't do anything, The Thrift Dept of US and Utah can't do any thing...wonder if maybe they might have a little nest egg...So what is the move Paul...You have the ideas...what can we ALL do...Yes, we made a mistake but that doesn't mean we have IQ's the equivalent of a CARROT...

we made a mistake, and want our money back bottom line...The legality part is out....so how do WE MAKE THEM WANT TO SETTLE....You've got that kind of brain Paul...any advice is helpful and you seen to have more behind the brains -- I would be willing, as I'm sure many of the people here...to give you a percentage of the money retrieved...You're not such a bad guy after all...

Scanned your email...where did you say these emails should be filed? New at this..Jan in Flo rida....happy thanksgiving --going away for a week..I'm getting the book from Ripoffs but haven't seen it yet...How do you bombard these people with stuff?

Janet, let me clarify a previous comment. Plus, address your offer regarding retrieval.

AUTHOR: Paul - (U.S.A.)

I DID NOT mean that you are supposed to lose YOUR values and become insensitive to the needs of YOUR customers. Not at all.

I meant that the world has gotten to be that way. I meant that you can't walk into a business and trust that they have your best interests at heart.

Of course, YOU are supposed to continue to have concern for others. Just don't go around assuming that they have equal concern for you. See the difference?

You walk into usight wary, not trusting. Otherwise the frauds will eat you alive.

Hey, I'll be honest with you people. I don't know what the hell I was thinking when I wrote some of these comments. Trying to stop fraud? I must have been out of my mind.

I realize that there is no way I'm ever going to stop people from getting involved with fraud. It's not possible. I came up with this new concept last night. Fraud demonstrates a basic law of nature. The law is: survival of the fittest. The smartest, the most astute will see and avoid the frauds. The victims will not. Nothing I can do to stop that. Nothing anyone can do!

Unfortunately, the victims will have to learn on their own. At their own pace. For some, this will be the last loss. For others, it may take longer. It's like a drunk. Taking away his bottle just pisses him off. It doesn't prevent him from continuing to be an alcoholic. I can't force lessons onto people. You need to reach your own conclusions as to what is best in your lives. Big mistake trying to explain where everyone went wrong. All that does is piss people off and make them feel even dumber.

I'm smart enough to see the problem, define it, and work on a solution. But too stupid to realize when the magnitude of the problem is beyond my control.

It's like a big rock the size of a car on top of a helpless victim. Of course, I recognize their misery. Of course, I want to free them. But, there's no way in hell I'm moving a 20 ton boulder off someone. It's no different here. The problem of fraud is way larger than any one individual can control. There's nothing I can do to stop the victims from being eaten. The smartest thing I can do is stand back and not get splattered by the mess.

Besides, the correct thing is to focus on the winners here. They are the thousands of people who come and read the frauds. They learn to spot and avoid them. Survival of the fittest. They are the fittest. There will always be victims who are going to get eaten. Educating the victims won't help. It just pisses them off.

In the future, I'll be staying the hell out of this mess. My goal is to read the frauds and make sure I don't get eaten by them. There will always be victims. Nothing anyone can do for them.

Besides, if there was anything to be done, the people running this site would already be doing it. I can't innovate anything they haven't already though of. They've been doing this for years. I started reading the fraud reports 3 months ago.

As for refunds, let me explain how this fraud works. First, let's look at the legal end. Just like the dumb f**k employee above stated, in a court of law they would simply demonstrate that they provided everything they contracted with you for. They would go on to explain that you knew the business had some risk, but you went ahead anyway. They'd show all the dot com failures of the 90's as examples.

Now, you and I both know the usights are frauds. But, proving it a court of law is another matter. It's far more likely that a jury would side with the defendant, usight. Then, to add insult to injury, they would turn around and sue for the costs of their attorneys. By smacking the victim down, they would prevent any other victims from getting any ideas about litigation.

These d**n frauds are smart. I'll give them that. Plus, with all the victims' money, they're d**n well funded. They win because they do exactly what I would do. They analyze the problem and implement the correct solution. They already know how to evade prosecution. They designed their business to give you just enough to make it look like they tried. Failure gets blamed on you.

This goes right back to my original comment above. Fraud is the most profitable business you can start. You got no product or service to suck down your profit margin. There's just advertising and marketing. They must be making 10 to 20 times every dollar they spend to attract new victims. Maybe more.

One quick side note here. Usight bragged about how their web sites made millions, right? Well why the hell weren't they doing exactly what they were telling you to do? If selling trash in a web site made millions, then why are they selling the web sites? See how what they claim doesn't really make sense?

Ok, back to restitution. You see, no lawyer will take your case, because he knows he can't win it. And, he d**n well won't take it on contingency. He's not about to lose his a*s in this usight nonsense.

That's why you can't sue the money out of them. Besides, even if you win, the bastards would go bankrupt. It's like trying to grab onto an eel after he is off the hook.

Now, you see why I advocate the hatchet method? It's the only option left. The legal system, in its present state, won't work against frauds. They're like eels.

But, here's the problem. The frauds only have operating capital on hand. The money gets collected and funneled off to the group funding this whole venture. You can hit usight and you won't get s**t. They transfer the money to other companies. It looks like a legitimate business transfer. It ends up in an offshore holding company. Or, maybe in a real-estate venture. But, in a new company that is in no way connected to usight. These dumb f**ks are good. They don't leave the money laying around for the FTC to come in and take back. Only usight is vulnerable. That's why the money is quickly moved out of usight.

Right now, the money is probably in some investment. Probably real estate. So, here's the problem. Say that you go and grab up the usights. That won't work, because they are not the ones with the money. You need to grab up the main usight at the top, and convince him to tell you where the money goes. Before he goes, he'll scream out that the money is transferred to a holding company in the Caymans.

Let's assume that you can manage to grab up the main guy running the real estate investment company. Once you get the bone drill fired up, he'll tell you exactly where every penny is located. Great! It's all in f**king real estate. What can I do? Load up a shopping center in downtown Dallas and bring it back? Make him sign it over? Sure, I can make him do that! Of course, I don't know how much good it's gonna do. The big guy disappears, and I show up on the scene claiming to own all his buildings? Yeah, that'll fly!

So, you see, the money is gone. Or rather, they got it. And there is no way to get it back. It's tied up in real estate. Grabbing anybody up is just for fun. You'll never get the money back. And, even if you get rid of the main man, there are 50 more just like him running the web counseling con. Trust me, I looked at all the angles already. I'm a man of action. If there was any action I could have taken, I already would have done it months ago.

Why do you think I'm focusing on preventing the victims from throwing their money away in the first place? That's the only viable solution I could come up with. And, even that won't work. The victims need to learn for themselves. There's no other way.

Conclusion: nothing can be done to stop the inevitable victims. The fittest will come here and read and avoid. The rest will get eaten. Or rather, taken. It's evolution. Only the fittest will survive and prosper. I was crazy thinking I could change any of that.

expensive education - I took their word

AUTHOR: Mary - (U.S.A.)

Don't be too hard on Paul - he may be rude and condescending but he makes a good point. I have to regard the money spent with Usight as an expensive education - I took their word for what I would have to pay elsewhere for similar services rather than doing the research myself and bought into the "act now or lose this opportunity" pitch. If I had done my homework, I would have figured out this was a ripoff.

Having said that, though, I certainly wouldn't want to do business with anyone who figures he has no responsibility to be honest because the other guy has to look out for himself.

I would have less rancor for Usight if they had actually delivered on their overpriced services, but when an expensive Search Engine Optimization program (i.e. UTraffic) causes one's hits to actually decrease, I have to figure it has gone beyond outrageously overpriced to being a downright scam.

PAUL IS UNBELIEVABLE AND SAD ..People buy THE PERSON, not the product

AUTHOR: Janet - (U.S.A.)

TO: Scott in Marietta, Ga....

I think I love you Scott...Right on...If I had to live my life the way Paul mentioned in the last paragraph of his rebuttal, I'd rather be dead...I consider values in life to be as in style as manners will always be...Trust, reliability and reputation are values that make people more successful (especially in small business)....than the norm...People buy THE PERSON, not the product...I've experienced it in my own business...Because I have given them good service and am pleasant and accommodating to them, they keep coming back...

Also, the idea of being "indifferent to customer needs" is wrong...I don't work on Wall Street, never could -- We are talking small business owners and customer service is EVERYTHING ... Because I don't know too much about marketing on the internet, I have acquired the services of a super expert...who is not only dynamite in his field of getting us at th e top of search engines, but is dependable, honest and a great person...all the things that made ME HIRE HIM..i WAS NOT SCAMMED BY HIM, He performs...Give me an honest person who does a good job every time...You don't have to know how to do everything in your business, you just need to choose the right person for the right job AND BE ABLE TO TRUST THEM AND TAKE CARE OF THEM... i.e...Long time employee of mine has been struggling for about 6 mo...sales are down, hit by 3 hurricanes in a row, I haVe sent her money everyweek since the hurricanes because she is a super worker and care about her...This is what makes for loyalty in a company and you don't have to worry about turning your back...You take care of them, they take care of you...Timeless truth...Read the "Power of INtention" by Wayne Dyer...awesome....Also, brilliant idea, Paul....going to Utah "with a hatchet"....jail time too after being ripped off. I have ordered the book from Ripoffs too...Scott, you are a good guy...thanks...Jan in Miami

There's $85,000 in losses here. Minimum. Actual is probably triple that.

AUTHOR: Paul - (U.S.A.)

On this one page alone!

I used the numbers that were mentioned or inferred. If no number was mentioned, I used zero. So, actual losses amount to quarter of a million. That's just on this one page.

And, that's just from Usight. What about Asight, Bsight, and Csight? Now, they're all the way down to U. This fraud isn't some piss a*s nickel and dime nonsense. People are losing serious money here.

Now, you see why I'm all pissed off? Scott is absolutely right. I gotta stop coming here.

You see, I'm not content to sit back and just read all the stories like it's some kind of fairy tale novel. Dumbass that I am, I expect to put a stop to it. I look at it as some kind of challenge. I'd like to come in here and put these d**n frauds out of business, once and for all. Who wouldn't? It's more like the misery files. Usight victims may have the money to throw away. But, some of these other frauds leave the victims totally devastated. No sane person wants to sit back and see that.

I tried to put the modem dialer con out of business. I tried to find their names and addresses. That failed because they use false identities. Then, I tried to incite a lunatic fringe to go over with his rifle and blow their brains out. No takers. Then, I researched all the federal complaint pages and posted all the web addresses. The intent was to sic the feds on the frauds. Minimal at best. Then, I tried to goad the feds into action. I know they come here and read the pages. Evidently that was ineffective too, because the modem dialer con is still going.

In addition, I tried to put the Kingsway advance-fee loan con out of business. As well as the fake grant fraud. Any action was ineffective, at best. Actually, it was less than that. I tell people not to send money. I tell them not to pay or play. Guess what the reply is? Somebody writes back that I must be working for the grant company! Un-freakin real! How can I make any headway when this is what I got to work with?

So then, I accepted that the victims intend to throw their money away. There is nothing I can do to stop it. That's when I came up with the false hope theory on their behavior. So, I decided that if they intended to throw their money away, at least I could divert some of it here, to this site. So, I explained how people should come here regularly and read, then donate. Not sure of the outcome, or income.

A month ago, I posted the first comment on this page. I tried to be calm and reasonable them. Even though I see all these crazy amounts, I basically tell the victims to go to the library and do research.

After that, I decided to stop wasting time here. I didn't read any new complaints. And, I didn't offer any new suggestions.

But, the other day, I get an email that this page has a new comment. I come here, and what do I find? People are talking about u-links and u-pages and u-people. Still in the ether! Nobody even mentions that they should go to the library and read up on web sites. It's like I was talking to the god d**n wall!

I see that the victims are right on the verge of making their next fraudulent purchase. So, what do I do? I try to smack some sense into them by using a harsh comment.

The goal is to STOP the victims from throwing away their money. And, to put the frauds out of business by depriving them of income. Where do you silly people get making myself feel superior? I'm just the average Joe. Most of the world already knows the exact same things that I do. I'm the norm. You guys probably feel that you're looking up because you don't understand the rules that govern purchasing. But, trust me, I'm no different than millions of other hard working people. Maybe it seems like I got all the answers. But, trust me, anybody you meet can tell you the exact same things that I said. People spot the usight fraud one simple way. Maybe they're dazzled by the big money talk. And, maybe the guys get a boost out of the showgirls they got dancing up on the stage. But, when it comes time to part with the cash, that's where the victims take a sharp turn off into the twilight zone. I guess you'd call that a U-turn. Anyway, nobody is content to leave $5k or $10k behind and walk off with a few CDs and a book. No how. No way. No go. No thanks. Everybody knows that. I'm not the only one.

So, as Scott said, it's not about me at all. It's about stopping the fraud company. I'm not able to make any progress. The victims don't seem like they are smartening up any. Some lady is talking about using a heavy dose of persistence. Persistence? These are frauds for christ sake! What do you think, you can write them a stern letter? These crooks aren't tardy school children! You need a heavy dose of lead. That's what you need! Persistence? Un-freakin real!

I give up. I need to stop coming here and reading this stuff. I get all pissed off over the lost money. When I think how hard I have to work to make $50,000. Not to mention saving that amount. That's 10 times harder! When I see all the poor who could use even $50, just to feed their families. Then, I come back and see everyone is talking u-trash yet. I can't help it. I lose it and lash out in anger. I realize that doesn't achieve positive results. Actually, I thought it might implant pain imagery messages in your brain. Anything to stop you from moving on to the next fraud and handing away more money! I'm desperate here. How can I stop this? I tried explanations. I tried scaring the frauds. I tried the feds. I'd go over and exterminate all the usights. But there are ten more for every one I put down. The answer is modifying the victim's behavior. How do I do that?

What can I do to stop the next person from flushing their money away in the usight toilet? That's my goal. How do I achieve it? You tell me, cause I'm running out of things to try. I know there is an answer. This site is effective. It cuts down on the usight income. But, watch, usight will just mutate into something new. Potential victims won't recognize the new name. And, boom, v-sight is back in fraud heaven again. The answer lies in analyzing what motivates these victims to search out these frauds. That's where the solution to this problem lies. Sorry if I got you people all riled up. I think that's good, though. People will remember both the pain of the loss, as well as the shame of the humiliation. When the next fraud rides into town, usight victims won't spend a dime. Exactly as planned.

Usight Enlightenment

AUTHOR: Scott - (U.S.A.)

Thank you for your enlightenment, Paul. You have said the same thing over and over again. You have made your point. Do you feel better now?

Why do you even waste your time with your long posts if everybody can't be as intelligent as you? If there is no hope for people that have made mistakes, then why do you continue to downplay and insult them, or offer any advice at all? What does that say about you and your time if we are so hopeless? Does that make you feel far superior inside? If that is what you need, continue with your posts, and we will take them for what they are worth. Matter of fact, I bet that is the case. I bet you can't stay away from posting more derogatory remarks because you NEED to feel better about yourself. Can you prove me wrong? WE shall see.

This posting site is not about you, Paul. Or what you THINK you know about people that admit they did not make sound decisions. Everybody doesn't know about the RipOffReport or BadBusinessBureau, not everybody is omnipotent like you. This site is about people having an outlet and a forum to discuss certain issues to HELP each other out with things that have ALREADY happenned. So thank you for your contribution, Paul. You have made your throned presence known.

As for everyone else, please continue to learn from your mistakes and give help and support. Where there is a will, there is a way.

#31 Consumer Suggestion

Janet, you want real help? Here's the best advice I can give you!

AUTHOR: Paul - (U.S.A.)

I'll address each portion of your comment in the order that you made them. First, I was absolutely judgmental. No doubt about that! This usight nonsense is one of the dumbest things I ever saw. People handing away thousands of dollars for little more than empty promises and worthless CDs? Of course I look at that as ridiculous! Most people would. Everyday, I see desperate people forced to live in poverty by today's changing economic conditions. These are decent people who do nothing wrong. They are simply victims of conditions far greater than themselves.

So, when I think how these usight idiots hand away their money with so little concern, I become infuriated. Why can't you donate to this site instead? You all expect to come here and cry about your losses. So, help support the people who run this site. After all, if you had come here first, this never would have happened.

Or, help the poor in your community. There are the elderly, some too sick to help themselves. Donate to them. Or, families in need, with children. Why can't you give your money away to them? Why do you insist on handing it away to the frauds, who only spend it on drugs and whores? How does that do any good in society? Yes, I get upset when I see fools throw good money away that people in need could benefit from. d**n right!

As for me feeling bad, way wrong there, lady. I feel good about myself. This nonsense never happens to me. I know better! Most everyone knows better. Usight victims are the minority. The majority of the world wouldn't begin to fall for this stupid con.

You see, most people work hard to earn their money. They have a lot of life expenses. After everything is paid, there is little money left over to save. It absolutely defies all logic that any intelligent person would save up thousands of dollars, just to hand it all away for usight trash. So, what is the logical conclusion? Only a complete fool would do something stupid like this! Show me any other reasonable explanation.

What did your husband learn in his business school? Certainly not the value of a dollar! As a usight victim, you made that absolutely clear. Value is a basic concept that children learn in their pre-teen years. They know how far $5 goes at the burger joint. They know how much the latest video game costs. So, why don't the two of you know what to expect for $5,000?

You want meaningful help? Here's the first lesson. Learn what to expect for your money. Find out what you can purchase for $100, or $1000. Then, hopefully, you'll have sense enough to reject the deal when someone tries to charge you thousands for worthless CDs. The way to find the value of money in various situations is to research the market. What is web hosting selling for? How much should you expect to pay for web site production? What about listing and ranking costs? What are the typical charges associated with increased bandwidth as the site becomes more popular? You do a google search for each of these costs. You develop an idea of the range of prices associated with each requirement. But, you do it BEFORE you go out and make any purchases. That way, you'll know that $5k is a ridiculous amount for the help you were given.

Lesson number two. You always research the company you plan to purchase from. I wrote a whole, long comment on how the dumbasses should come here first and read the fraud complaints. But, what do they always do? This is the last place they come, usually to debate over whether the company will give them a refund or not. This is the FIRST site you should come to. You can investigate the company's reliability, as well as the value of any product or service they put out. Badbusinessbureau.com first, never last.

In addition, you can research with Consumer Reports magazine. Find out the breakdown history before you spend $3k for that new refrigerator. Check and see how well that new laptop you plan to purchase will hold up for your daughter. Check before you buy. Instead of crying about a ripoff after. Common sense.

Lesson number three. New to internet marketing, Janet? Ten years ago, behavior like this wouldn't have been so ridiculous. Back then, there were few publications that explained how to proceed. But today, this usight nonsense just smacks of stupidity. There are vast volumes written on internet marketing. There's web site production and implementation. Whole volumes devoted to search engine listing and ranking. Site development with an emphasis on establishing a retail sales platform. You name it, and someone has already done it. And, wrote a book on it. When in doubt, read the instructions. That holds true whether you're contemplating an IPO, or simply assembling a kid's bicycle. It goes without saying that you do this before you make a purchase.

Lesson number four. Buyer beware. It's more than a catchphrase. It's a mantra for any consumer that expects to survive in today's society. You're old enough to know that you can't trust a stranger with a large amount of money. Usight promised to help you develop a website? Fine, I'll pay little by little as we go along. That way, when they fail to produce anything, I can minimize my losses and move on. Pay all in advance and trust that they'll make good on their promises? What are you, f**king nuts? The correct answer is pass.

Many small companies choose to outsource web site development. Janet, perhaps this was your intention. Fine. You primarily go to a local webmaster or site builder to get started. You sit down and describe your intended needs. He or she listens and takes notes. Then, they go to work. You view the finished product in its entirety. Only then do you choose to pay, after you receive a disk copy of the pages. And, after they meet with your satisfaction.

You see, making secure purchases depends on both parties walking away with something of equal value. Leave the honor system to the Boy Scouts. Be sure that you have $5k worth of s**t when you leave $5k worth of cash behind. Forget the promises to make good in the future. You know what I tell people? It's not that I don't trust you, it's just that I think you're lying. Pay all now, for help in the future? Yeah, right, ha ha.

Lesson five. Plan on tapping into the internet to exploit the vast array of potential consumers worldwide? Well that sounds like a great idea at first. Right up until the time that you run headlong into the realities of internet marketing. You see, the typical internet customer comes to a site for several reasons. They may be looking to evaluate the company's product or service prior to a purchase. Many organizations establish an internet presence to further their retail marketing efforts. That is a very good reason to use a web site for your business. However, if you intend to establish a site as your primary arena for sales, then you need to understand something. Customers are driven to web purchasing for two primary reasons. They are convenience and price discount. It's convenient to shop at a site, instead of driving to a store. Many customers located in rural areas are isolated from a wide range of products. The internet provides them with a link to items that they may not have access to.

Then, there is price. The internet is perceived as a way to reduce a seller's overhead costs. Initially, that may have been the case. Now, however, savvy search engine developers and web hosts are acutely aware of the potential for profits. Naturally, they demand their fair share as service providers. In short, listing and hosting ain't free anymore. Big web traffic, and big bandwidth costs money. Page ranking is driven as much by the almighty dollar as it is by quality and relevance of your site's content. However, the potential customer has no idea of any of this. All they want is a better price than the store down the street. So, that's what you are expected to provide. Your competition not only is Wal-mart and every other retail store, but other web sites too. Shopping bots(robots) instantly search their database for the prices on any requested item. Plan on selling name brand electronics for double your cost? Think again! Another site sells the same items for 15% over cost. Who do you think the customers will buy from?

So, plan on selling on your web site? Answer these questions first. What's the competition doing? You see, everything from a*s cream to zebra stripes is already being sold on the web. Can you match or beat the price of your competitors? How do you plan to arrange for shipping? Are you able to fill orders on a timely basis? Do you have an existing merchant account?

In addition, consider the following. What will hosting fees cost you? What conversion rate can you expect? Will you require additional computer equipment or software to process orders and transactions? Are you capable of maintaining your site, or will you require a dedicated web-savvy employee? What about search engine listing? How much and how effective? How do you plan to advertise your site? Who can you link to? Can you afford to pay for traffic? If so, how much will that cost?

You see, you really need to evaluate whether it makes economic sense to even have a site. What the hell's the sense of spending $40k to make $10k per year in profit? ROI is 4 years until you're even. Don't laugh. Many big companies did just that, except their up-front costs ran into the hundreds of thousands. All because they had these big internet dreams.

So, before you rush off into internet land, don't you think it would be prudent to first establish whether there is any profit to be made there? That's what all the books will help you determine. You see, all this s**t gets pretty complicated, doesn't it? Plus, I just began to scratch the surface. Usight didn't mention any of this because they were a fraud right from the start. What do they care about bandwidth for? They never planned for you to get any traffic to your site in the first place.

In summation here, Janet, find out the going price of the various internet services before you start spending. Research the company you plan to buy from. Read the instructions from others who have already been there and done it before you venture in. Never trust anyone who promises to fulfill an obligation in the future. That goes for everywhere, not just online. And, last, evaluate as best as you can what your up-front and continuing costs are going to be. Then, make a realistic estimation of exactly how much you stand to profit from the whole venture. That's how anyone who is truly business-savvy approaches this whole concept.

And, last, if you really do want retribution and restitution, you'll have to do more than just talk about it here. You'll need to go the hell over to Utah with a hatchet and confront the usights. Frauds don't scare easily. Even with the hatchet, they'll probably laugh in your face. They've heard it all before. It usually takes the loss of a hand or foot before they begin to realize your intentions. That's how you get a refund! Are you up for that? Coming here and debating the issue is your right. But, as you see, it's hardly effective. Smart people learn quickly and go away vowing never to repeat the same mistake again. The main purpose of this site is to warn others. In theory, the fraud should stop after the first victim's report. Unfortunately, people have a tendency to spend first and think last. That's what leads to this nonsense in the first place. You, Janet, as well as the other victims, need to learn to reverse that order. Investigate first, pay last.

You didn't mention exactly what you intended to market on the internet, so I can't be more specific in my evaluation of your needs. But, no matter, the books on the subject will more than make up for any details I left out.

In today's marketplace it pays continual dividends to be wary, not trusting. Trust, reliability, and reputation have become hallmarks of an era gone by. They've been replaced by profits, Wall Street evaluations, and indifference to customer's needs and expectations. As a consumer, you need to adapt and respond accordingly.

Good luck, Janet

TO PAUL IN ANAHEIM CA--HOW JUDGMENTAL ARE YOU? YOU MUST FEEL REALLY BADLY ABOUT YOURSELF

AUTHOR: JANET - (U.S.A.)

You know Paul, I really took offense at your smug, pseudo intellectual comments on how smart you are and how dumb the rest of us are...I have a company of my own that has been very successful --but have no clue how to market a company on the internet...

My husband is a Amos Tuck School of Business graduate and he thought the plan (Storesonline) was a good one....they offered 24/7 service, etc...Your judgment of people as being dumb and stupid is not only insulting but untrue...

It was a terrible rebuttal you sent in and couldn't believe someone could be that insulting to so many trusting people who were as uninformed about internet marketing as we were....

How about offering a little help instead of sitting on your throne above all of us peasants.

If people have been scammed, they have every right to go after the scammer, which is what we are doing...I hope your business is not dealing with people...not a strong point of yours...

Here is the reason fraud exists. And, here is the lesson you need to learn to avoid it.

AUTHOR: Paul - (U.S.A.)

It starts with a potential victim who works at a dead end job. They can't get ahead. That's because they have few or no real job skills. Of course, no employer is going to pay them a lot of money!

So, what do they do?

They want more out of life. They see the people who are successful and feel like they deserve a piece of the good life as well.

But, there's one big problem stopping them. They simply don't have the intelligence to succeed at anything. If they did, they would already be on their way to success.

That's where the fraud comes in. The fraud convinces the victim that they really do have a chance. The fraud pretends to be the victim's friend. The fraud tells the victim exactly what they want to hear.

The fraud tells you there is hope.

The fraud tells you it is possible for you to succeed.

The fraud tells you that you have what it takes.

Of course, they are only telling you this to get your money. Everybody knows that you have no chance to succeed. You are never going to be rich. You simply don't have the intelligence to make a better life for yourself.

Want proof of that?

Look at what you all did! You paid thousands of dollars for a few CDs. It doesn't get any dumber than that, does it? That's right down there with buying a bridge. Anybody who would do that has absolutely no chance of ever making a success of their life. Winners build their own sites. They would never think of hiring a fraudulent company to do it for them.

That's the difference between a winner and a loser. A winner makes their own success. They don't go searching for help from a fraudulent company to do it for them. A loser, on the other hand, has no clue what to do or where to start. The only thing they can ever do is depend on someone else to do all the work for them.

Here's the reason that victims always seek out the frauds.

The victim refuses to believe there is no hope. For some crazy reason, they actually think they have a chance. I don't know why. Most are lucky to tie their shoes in the morning without help. What in the world makes them think that they deserve a fortune? No skills. No past history of success. No business sense.

Everyone here had to pay a company to make a web site. Even beginners go to Yahoo and make their own web sites for free. Anyone who would pay thousands for something they could get for free has no chance of making any money.

The truth is that you will never have your own business. Oh, sure you will spend money and make a web site. I'll give you that. But, as the lady above states, it is all for nothing. Nobody here ever made a dime of profit. They spent thousands and got a handful of orders in return.

As long as you continue to believe there is hope for you, the frauds will continue to take your money.

You have absolutely no hope of ever making a real business for yourselves. If you had what it takes, you would have done exactly what I told you. That is, go to the library and learn how to build a web site for free.

A winner already knows what I told you above. There are no riches to be found on the internet. It's the pornos and the frauds that get all the money. The other sites make a small profit, just like they would in a normal store. They don't get rich. They just get by.

There is only one way to keep the frauds from taking your money.

You need to accept what you have and learn to be happy with it. Most of you will never amount to much of anything. All you will ever have is a meager paycheck. You will always be struggling to get by. You will never have the good life that you seek.

There is a good reason for that. You simply don't have what it takes to win in life. Anybody that tells you something else is lying to take your money. It's that simple.

It's the harsh, but accurate truth. Until you learn to accept what you have and make do, the frauds will keep taking your money. As you all see, the frauds can't give you the success you all crave so desperately. All they do is take your money and string you along.

As the lady above puts it, all her money and her time amounted to nothing. She would have been better off doing absolutely nothing. She'd still have her money.

So, as hard as it is to face, you must all accept the reality of your lives.

You will never have much more than your dead-end job. No business. No web site. No big profits.

You are dreaming!

When you all finally accept that, you will give up and forget about this web nonsense. You won't bother calling any usights or a*s-sights or idiotsonline. You will spend your evenings at home, watching TV, like the rest of the poor.

It's either accept your life, or throw away your money on a fraud business. Either way, you will never end up rich. The only choice you have is to face that now, or after you throw more of your hard-earned money down the drain. It's your choice.

Not everyone falls for these scams. A lot of people learn their lesson, and move on with their life. Unfortunatly, U-Sight, left a really bad taste in everyones mouth which is why there are a lot of responses to this thread.

Do and can people have a successful business online? Absolutly. I know many who have including myself. Have you? who knows.

You probably work for Usight or Storesonline!

I know all about hard work and the hours it takes to make money. I have a full-time job and devoted every evening and weekend from February to December to get the sight up, running and marketed.

What do you think of a company who can't even let people know their sight is up for renewal and just let's it flop? Yes, that happened to two people out of five that I know.

YOU CAN get a REFUND a heavy dose of persistence

AUTHOR: Doreen - (U.S.A.)

You CAN get a refund with or without attorney assistance. It's simply your choice with a heavy dose of persistence. A lot of reports talk about how they DID get refunds, some before having to file with a ton of agencies, others after they filed with a ton of agencies. One report stated that the company said they would give them their money back if they would please stop filing reports. File your reports with as many agencies as possible. Once there are enough reports filed with the BBB's & ripoff, Attorney Generals/states will take action the same way they did against StoresOnline.

Those who have written about research and finding free sorces of information, wrote in to help, to inform, to constructively provide encouragement & aid, (NOT TO BE USED LATER AGAINST THEM). You can always count on a shill to provide abusive comments and offer discouragement.

There are a lot of people who admidt to being stupid, a sucker for the scam, naive to believing the sales promises. These companies count on consumers being too ashamed to admidt to the world they made a huge mistake in putting their trust in them. When product is not delivered, when product doesn't work (after thousands of dollars, coaching, hours, weeks, months of work), when you get the run-around - these people HAVE THE RIGHT to file their complaints and demand a REFUND. It doesn't matter "who else" may agree or disagree with their complaints, they still have the RIGHT to have their personal say in their personal matter.

Keep calling them & email them daily & demand your refund. Type up your case and send them your claims against them. Ask them to reconsider their non-refund position and give you your refund in 3 business days. If they do not contact you, call them again: Today is the deadline, what is your refund decision? If they will not work with you, you have the right to file complaints with all state and federal regulatory and/or law enforcement agencies. Keep filing your reports, and telling family & friends about this site, hopefully people will begin to check these sites and learn from the hard lessons of others. I've read comments in reports of those thanking others for their report, someone's story did keep them from getting involved.

Others have won the battle and got their refund, no reason to think you won't be successful too.

Good Luck !!!

To Linda: What some did to get their money back.

AUTHOR: Doreen - (U.S.A.)

Get the ripoff book if you haven't already.

Consult with an attorney, type in "legal advice" in google, all kinds of free advice sites will come up, or use your own attorney's office.

Type up all your information from purchase date through today, stick to the facts, be very specific, keep emotion out of it, have your legal counsel review it before you publish it here or anywhere else as a safety precaution. These type of companies will stonewall, strong arm & deny you your refund. Truth is your defense, you can say all you need to as long as it is true.

You can get your money back if you can prove misrepresentation, show use of fraudelent statements that swayed you to purchase, how what you were told to get you to purchases was different from what you received & experienced, example: http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/ripoff109132.htm

another great example from StoresOnline ripoff report example: http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/ripoff11988.htm titled Debbie--Here's some info to help you TAKE ACTION.

She lists phone numbers, contact names, & addresses. FTC & other agencies provide forms on line. If you get your info together in a Word document you can copy & paste much of your info into these complaint sites.

nmrcoaching & pmicoaching = same web site.

NMR was part of my package, going through their online site they sell/promote purchasing banners from StoresOnline & creating galaxy links. While they are big on selling customers on marketing and working to create links, etc., there is another report that states NO ONE can control the search engines. The marketing they sell should come with a guarantee of sales (but they can't make that claim) no matter how much marketing you buy, they will never be able to guarantee an increase in your sales, there are NO guarantees which means they simply get to make a lot of money from everyone that has a desire to be successful and buy into what they are selling.

Go to StoresOnline, UT bbb reliability report:

Read GOVERNMENT ACTION already taken against them.

I've read other reports that stated StoresOnline are being investigated in other states across America.

#43 Consumer Suggestion

The fraud ends when your money runs out. It's really just that simple.

AUTHOR: Paul - (U.S.A.)

First, let's address the subject of refunds. There won't be any. Why? Because only an attorney could step in and start action to get refunds. If an attorney did get involved, his fee would come to more than the amount lost. Either way, forget refunds.

Besides, what would you do if you did get a refund? Answer: you'd just hand away your money to some other fraud. Instead of web site counseling, it'd be a real-estate con. Either way, same results. You're outside looking in. Broke and desperate. So, does it matter who took your money? Not really. Either way, you are just holding it until the next con artist comes along. That won't take long.

As long as you plan on throwing away your money, can anyone really blame usight for taking it? Of course not! If I seen someone throwing money into a trash can, I would walk over and take it out. Usight is no different.

It's funny. A month ago, I told all you people exactly how to build a website. Did anyone read my comment? Of course not! My suggestion was to go to the library and get free information and build your own web site. But, did anybody even notice that? Of course not! The idiots just went right on with usight this or usight that. The only comment that makes a shred of sense is the one that everyone ignored. Actually, that makes perfect sense. I have absolutely nothing in common with any of you people. So, why should anything I say have any meaning? Common sense is a foreign language that nobody here has ever learned to speak.

So, what does that mean? I'd say that nobody here really wants a web business at all. Besides, building a web site is relatively easy. If nobody here can even figure that out, what chance do they have to stay in business long-term? Virtually none at all!

Here's how this will play out for the usight victims. Mark my words. They will not learn a thing from this. They will go right on to the next con. In fact, they will be even more desperate than before, because of the usight loss. Naturally, the next great idea will turn out to be a fraud as well. It'll continue, one loss after another, until there is no more money left to give away.

Then, finally, all you people will give up, and go back to the labor force. That's when the fraud in your lives will finally end. When you finally run out of money to throw away!

Let me explain one other thing. Usight gave all of you something in return. What did you get? No, not the stupid CDs or binders. They gave you all hope. Let's face it, anyone who can't even make a simple web site has absolutely no hope of ever making a profitable business. That's common sense. It would be like expecting a blind person to drive a car. There is no chance of that happening either. So, usight sold you hope. And, for a few months or whatever, your lives didn't seem as desperate and empty as they normally were. That's quite a service to provide. I'd say their fee was completely justified. In fact, if I had to sit down and work with people too stupid to go to the library and read a book, I'd need a hell of a lot more money than usight charged you.

A real business takes real business skills. Anybody who can't even figure out a simple web site has absolutely none of the skills necessary to compete in the business world. So, as you can see, there is no hope whatsoever. For those of you desperate enough to keep buying false hope, just keep right on searching, because the next fraud is already planning how to spend your hard-earned money.

You see, as long as desperate people with no hope for a better future are willing to gamble away their money, there will always be someone willing to take that bet. The usights of the world go out of business when people simply learn to face reality. As long as you have few or no skills, you will never have a chance at a business. You will never make any money beyond your weekly paycheck. And, all the usights in the world can't change that. So, how is usight to blame for any of this? All I see here are people too lazy to read and learn how to do things for themselves.

Storesonline seemed honest & knowledgable ..they are only knowledgable in one area: How to get your money and give you nothing in return

AUTHOR: Linda - (U.S.A.)

My husband and I attended an Internet Workshop on 2/21/03. We each purchased 6 web sites for over $6200 for each of us. It seemed like a

good deal and we wanted a way to make money, since he was laid off due to 911 and the travel industry. We have all documentation.

Storesonline personnel seemed very honest and knowledgable. Now we know they are only knowledgable in one area: How to get your money and give you nothing in return.

A few weeks later, PMI coaching called us and told us how we NEEDED the coaching they would provide, along with Links4trade for marketing and

banners. Being inexperienced with web site building, we each purchased the package for over $8,000 each. (We weren't even dating at the time.)

So we're each out $15,000 and they broke PA business laws. They didn't even offer the 3 day cancellation as outlined by the FTC. "All sales are final" is their approach.

This company is now even operating in the UK and I know of four other people they have ripped off, too. Once they get your money, they don't

care whether your web site is up or successful.

Chuck Greenwalt (Storesonline) programmed my site as I submitted it, which was exactly as Devron Larson (Storesonline PMI Coaching...yes, my receipt says that on it)told me to do it. Turns out well over a year later, and only 3 sales, I find out that my site has too much pics on the home page and not enough text. Well, they did a site review last Dec and tried to tell me I needed to buy more marketing!!!!

Can you please help us get our money back?

To Linda: Usight sold to NMR

AUTHOR: Doreen - (U.S.A.)

Hi Linda,

Your report questioned if Usight closed their doors.

Go to: http://www.matr.net/article-12351.html

information from newspaper article says Anderson sold Usight to NMR = National Marketing Resources.

Search ripoffreport & bbb reports on NMR, National Marketing Resources, PMI, Professional Marketing International, Professional Marketing Inc., for additional details. Others: PCS, Professional Consulting Services, Auctions for Income, The Summit Group, Summit Consulting, Internet Developement Inc., idiglobal, Internet Treasure Chest, Storesonline, onlinesupplier.com, there are so many more under different names and all reports have similar complaints.

E MAIL your family & friends; tell them about ripoffreport.com and ask them to email their family & friends:

I believe that there are consumers across America that don't know about ripoff report or badbusiness.com & if they did, there would be even more reports posted.

I did buy the ripoff book, I consulted an attorney & I did get 100% of my money back. I also filed a ripoff report on Auctions for Income Success Team = The Summit Group and all affiliates. I was also harassed by The Summit Group / Summit Consulting. I have seen the Auctions for Income commercials over the last two weekends so it is only a matter of time until more reports will show up because people have dreams and they jump into things before researching and most don't even know where to look if they did want to research. BBB reports can be very deceiving, some states are better than others but many states don't offer details: when the business started, names of all owners, etc., yet if very persistent and spend hours/days/weeks of research you can put puzzle pieces together. Some companies try to outrun unsatisfacory bbb reports & rip off reports by changing names, addresses, phone numbers, they even go as far as moving to different states or selling out to each other. nmrcoaching.com & pmicoaching.com = same web site

NMR no longer lists a physical address, only a p.o.box when not to long ago they listed their physical address & phone number as: 301 S Platte ClayWay, Kearney MO 64151 with phone number of 816-903-6100; sama as PMI.

Wishing everyone success in getting your money back.

Beware work at home scams from Utah! Financial Superstars

AUTHOR: Tom - (U.S.A.)

Provo, Utah scam office denies refund! This office handles the business responses after the sale is made at other locations and different firm names.

The rest of the story that was left out of the response to ripoff report filed.

The time line for refund or cancellation of program was 5 days. Three days after purchase transaction, password was given over telephone. Two days before 5-day limit for refund. Access problem with password resolved with one day remaining for review of materials.

One day to access web site to receive or review any educational value from program. Next day access to site and phone was blocked due to first inquiry regarding refund. Materials for reference and telephone hotline were not available from day one.

Telephone access service denied. Web site access denied. Refund denied.

The credit card dispute is not lost, but still pending investigation. The BBB investigation is still pending investigation. This firm (BBB)does not issue any opinions on any value of any company position.

The materials consist of:

1 plastic bag with carrying handle

8 audio CDs

3 reference books

1 3-ring binder Manual

The offer for more telephone mentoring of unusable materials was not acceptable in lieu of a refund. Telephone mentoring is another BS stalling tactic to pacify. It's like learning to swim lessons over the telephone.

The offer of other unusable products was not acceptable. The final offer of charging $199.50 for restocking fee was not acceptable. This arbitrary fee did not appear on the contract receipt. The materials are in complete re-sellable condition as printed on receipt.

Materials are unusable. Telephone service was not provided. Web site was blocked for access. No usage of phone service. No service access of web site.

No alternative but to declare this scam operation from Provo, Utah, bilking consumers for any cash available. Next step will be to seek other legal steps and to warn the public of this type of working at home scams.

It's not a work at home opportunity. The true term should be high priced information without hope of living up to return or refund policy. It will probably take adverse public knowledge and governmental investigative agencies to force these scam operations to cease their scams.

I quote from the previous writer: "It shouldn't matter what a persons dissatisfaction is. Many of these companies claim to be so successful, if true, then the small percentage of unhappy customers would get their money back, no questions asked. But that doesn't seem to be the case. Or perhaps the percentage of unhappy customers isn't so small."

A scam operation is a scam operation if the service for use is not delivered for cash paid.

To: Russell & Stuart - Research, Research, Research, bbb report for Usight, it said complaints had been resolved

AUTHOR: Doreen - (U.S.A.)

Russell:

Please, if you want others to see your report you need to put in all business names, product titles, software titles etc., IN YOUR TITLE. So when people search under one name or one title, your report will come up.

A lot of people file reports with the BBB's, will the BBB give you a list of their names/addresses, so you can contact them to get the numbers you need for class action??????

On 10/4/04 I looked at the bbb report for Usight, it said complaints had been resolved and listed alleged complaints. Checked 11/5/04 and it now reads UNSATISFACTORY rating.

I had the unfortunate experience of accepting telephone solicitation from Auctions for Income Success Team. Found out they were not Auctions for Income but The Summit Group/Summit Consulting and I did file a rip-off report. Found out that PMIcoaching.com & NMRcoaching.com was the same. PMI has Unsatisfactory while NMR didn't but they share the same web & office address. I've read reports where the tax club messed up business paperwork, etc. I think many companies fly under the rip-off report radar because reporters are not putting the names of the businesses in their titles. I did get ALL of my money back. After IDI refunded my money, Summit sent a form for me to sign releasing all of them, I did not sign and will not release any of them. Summit also called to harass me about my report and demand that it be removed.

Stuart:

Research - uSight, Internet Treasure Chest, StoresOnline, Auctions for Income, onlinesupplier.com, John Beck, Russ Whitney etc.

Best advice: Do as much research as possible on any business that is tempting your interest. Research any company that either reaches you by telephone solicitation, infomercial or mail.

Go to StoresOnline, UT bbb reliability report:

http://www.saltlakecity.bbb.org/commonreport.html?compid=2000585

Read GOVERNMENT ACTION

Go to StoresOnline, CA bbb report see:

Additional Business Names

Galaxy Mall, Inc.

General Pacific Partners

inetseminars

NetGateway, Inc.

Storesonline.com, Inc.

Many of these infomercial, ebook, back door telephone solicitation companies have Unsatisfactory bbb ratings; they change names, change locations to outrun unsatisfactory bbb reports and negative rip-off reports. Many offer coaching and tax programs; they have high pressure sales groups and ridiculous 3 day cancellation periods that are sometimes disclosed. Some rip-off reports claim that even when they attempted to cancel in the 3 day time frame, the companies stonewalled or did not honor the cancellation. Maybe some people get lucky and get a really good coach or get good service - I don't know. I think that when consumers are putting out that kind of money, they all deserve to get good service. It shouldn't be like playing the lottery, where only a few get to be successful. The FTC says these companies are required to provide potential customers with 10 contacts (names, addresses, phone numbers) of previous successful customers, 10 contacts that live closest to you, the potential client.

It shouldn't matter what a persons dissatisfaction is, many of these companies claim to be so successful, if True, then the small percentage of unhappy customers would get their money back, no questions asked. But that doesn't seem to be the case. Or perhaps the percentage of unhappy customers isn't so small.

After all your research for both positive and negative, then make your decision.

Best of luck to you !

Usight is "out of business" now...or is it?

AUTHOR: Linda - (U.S.A.)

I have been told that Usight has closed its doors. According to the Consumer Advocate's Office in Utah they supposedly have not opened under another name (they are watching for the key people - or so they say). Either Brandt Anderson has made so much money off us he is rich or he is using other people to front some of these other companies he keeps opening. I would happily be in a class action law suit if you ever file one. Like one of the earlier respondents I will give you my e-mail address in words-it is ljsco and I am at hotmail with a dot com address. Let me know please what you are doing - I have a previous rebuttal statement listed from before. Thank you

Thank You

AUTHOR: Ivan - (U.S.A.)

Thank you for the reply. I know there is a lot more who has lost a lot more money then I did with U-Sight. Me and my wife had the "big dream" and saw the let down. Our losses were probably just in the hundreds as opposed to thousands.

Thank you for the awsome words about that site. U-Sight and other companies use high pressure tacticts by dressing up their opportunity and make it sound like the deal of the century if you join up right then and there. That is your first clue to back off. If it seems too good to be true, then it is, as many of us have figured out.

All - Do your homework first. If there is such a great "deal" to join that great "deal" will be there a week from then as well.

Things to look for are - Cost, how much does it cost to be a distributor? There are many out there that charge you, some legit, MOST not. There are a lot out there that do NOT charge anything such as the site that I shared. I never understood the reasoning behind paying someone to help sell their product.

Secondly - How long has the business been around? Are they Publically Traded on the Stock Exchange?

Thirdly - Check with the BBB AND right here on ripoffreport.

Always do your homework and when it feels right, then it is, but only have you have made an intelligent and informed decision.

U-Sight charges you to use their Merchant Accounts. Why pay fees like that when you have Paypal and Stormpay and a few others that have been around.

Many things around to do. I started to get that "bad feeling" about U-Sight when we went to the training and there was a gentleman who brought up the negative report that was filed on the BBB site. They got very defensive and instead of letting him talk, they escorted him out of there very quickly.

If you have any questions or just want to talk off board you can contact me at

Apology Accepted

AUTHOR: Christina - (U.S.A.)

Ivan,

Your apology was very gracious. I'm sorry for being so defensive, but after all the money I have lost, It's kind of hard not to be, as I'm sure you'd understand. I did check out your sight, however and it does seem to be legitimate. I would just like to make sure that everyone looks into any website building business thoroughly before giving ANY money away. If a company offers you a business opportunity without putting out a ton of money, such as u-sight/u-travel has, then there is a good chance it can be legitimate.

Good luck to everyone trying to get back on their feet. PERSEVERE!!

MY APOLOGY

AUTHOR: Ivan - (U.S.A.)

Christina and anyone else I may have offended,

First off, I did not mean to offend anyone. That post is merely not for someone to start a business. There were many posts about Web Hosting. The seminar I went to, I did get to meet quite a few people (Florida), that already owned their own businesses and did sign up for the U-Travel scam, I mean biz.

People were talking about making websites because they enjoy it but didn't want to pay what U-Sight was charging. I was just merely offering a place to go. Not trying to get someone into my business, nor a get rich quick scheme as I do not tolerate them.

Biggest difference between me and Usight, what I do, I dont charge anyone. I have made it a mission in Networking to keep people far away from the scams that are out there. At the training for U-Sight, they wanted to charge thousands of dollars for their "mentoring", I don't. I can say that I have helped people make an informed decision. I will not slam another company on here, except for U-Sight, but would be more then happy to answer anyones questions to the best of my ability.

But once again, I did not mean to offend anyone or sell anyone. Just offer folks that like to make websites or that have an existing business an avenue, such as I do, for my pro wrestling company.

I can be reached via email if you would like to talk off board here at the2005mentor at aol dot com.

Stores Online HONG KONG Workshops

AUTHOR: S - (Hong Kong)

I recently attended the initial 'rope 'em in' type seminar in HONG KONG and agreed to go along for the 'FREE' 1-day workshop 'valued' at $XXX

A friend of mine mentioned seeing the Storesonline name popping up on consumer sites. So, when I saw the barrage of abuse, I was shocked.

Now, I haven't attended the workshop yet (it's on 7 Nov) and still intend to go as I am curious and interested on having this type of online business.

I'd like to know if there are any good things for you Statesiders to say on Storesonline or if it really is one to avoid. Being in Asia, the company clearly feels that we are not likely to come across the negativity shown on this site. I'll be arming myself with some of your stories and bringing them up for comment during the 1:1 sessions.

If anyone has anymore positive or negative experience, I'd like to have them. Obviously, I'm not out to be the Sheriff of Hong Kong but I am a geniune punter interested in a legit online business and am concerned at the claims made on this site.

I have been watching these posts and have posted quite a few times about these Scam Artists. To see the ex-employee say we didn't invest the time and money is complete Bull$%^^ well you get the point.

On top of my full time job, I invested hours each day to promote, advertise, and build my business. No results. I had friends say they ordered and nover saw the order come through. So dont sit there and defend this fraud of a company. There must have been a reason why you left them.

Anyhow, I did find a great site that has very cheap webhosting instead of the $39.95 on up that U-Sight wants to charge.

$5.95 a month and $9 or $10 for your domain name for the year.

Check it out at Gift4Life dot com.

Hopefully U-Sight will be out of business.

Does anyone know how to find out when and where they will be appearing next? I would love to go to the free seminar and inform people.

Irresponsible claims caused by lack of work and time

AUTHOR: D - (U.S.A.)

I recently ceased working at uSight after about 13 months with the company. I have read the reports and I have seen what people across the country have written. I realize that in the customer service at times mistakes were made - they are in any company (like EBay, Wal-Mart, and the US Army - all listed on this site).

The majority of uSight customers were not treated bad or poorly, but rather have had the wrong outlook from the very beginning. No one ever said this was a get rich quick project. I have been to seminars that advocated products like that. This was never advertised as one of those. This investment was to eventually provide you with enough income that you could quit your job, but it was not without monatary and personal sacrifice. Most customers did not even put in the minimal hours in order to understand the uSight program!

Most of these people complaining never put more than a few hours into their great financial investment and expected everything to work out perfect. Money takes WORK to create, not just money. So for those that are angry - sorry, we tried our best to help you. But even customer service, and uSight.com as trained computer specialists, can't push a rope.

Not the old web site counseling con again!

AUTHOR: Paul - (U.S.A.)

Why in the world would you be crazy enough to pay thousands of dollars for someone to help you build a web site?

All you need to do is go to the library! The books are free to take home and read! They have books on all matters relating to web sites!

Building them. Promoting them. Finding products. Web graphics. Web tables and forms. You name it, the library has a book on it!

Plus, all you need to do is find a site you like and copy it and fill in all your own information. I can't even spell internet, yet I was building professional looking sites right on my laptop in a matter of hours!

I don't understand why anyone would pay some idiot who is thousands of miles away. Plus, how much help could someone possibly be over the telephone? They can't see anything you are talking about!

My god! I see that I could go out and sell some people a ball of aluminum foil, as long as I told them it was magic.

Before you waste any more money on web sites, let me explain something. There's no fortune waiting for anyone on the internet.

They've got a thing called froogle. It's under google. It searches for the lowest price on any product.

So, plan on selling something for twice what you paid for it? Guess again! Froogle will find somebody selling for a lot less. They will get all the customers. You, meanwhile, will be left with big bills for hosting and ranking.

In order to get customers, you have to be lower than the next guy, or have something that nobody else is selling.

So, where are the big internet fortunes?

The only kinds of businesses that I see who are making any money are the pornos and the frauds! If you're not willing to be one of those two things, you'd be better to take your internet money and rent a local store in your town!

These scam operators keep on with their scams because they change their names to hide true IDs.

AUTHOR: Tom - (U.S.A.)

The names change, but the deceptive scams continue.

These scam operators keep on with their scams because they change their names to hide true IDs. They confuse the public by hiding behind other names .

Their deceptive tactics are all the same with minor variations. Business offices located in Utah.

1. They sell information that will help make money for you.

2. They state that the program money is refundable.

3. The promised help by telephone is not there.

4. They phone number for business dealings is not the actual firm that sold the product.

5. Incomplete materials according to "contract".

6. Stalling tactics and denial of refunds.

7. They promote money making riches from home business.

They have many other scams for denying service and refunds. They will change names to prevent any build up of complaints.

These scams with similar patterns of proven deception operations have been called:

1. UNIM LLC 2. PBnext 3. Innovative 4. HB 5. StoresOnline 6. Galaxy Mall 7. Financial Super Stars 8. Usight 9. John Beck's... 10. James Smith Real Estate... 10. Tax Lien Certificate Sales

Their plan is to hide behind ever changing names. The tactics are the same. They are scamming the American public with promises of easy ways to make money.

Check out the above names in www.ripoffreport.com/search. You will find that only a very small tip of the iceberg is showing. There are countless numbers of hard-working people in America that have been cheated and robbed by these white-collar criminals.

I am trying to dispute the credit card charges. I will next file a complaint with the fraud departments of the state agencies. These crooks need exposure to shed light upon these scams that are robbing the American public.

If more people would add their complaints to the growing list of reports on this site, then the state governments would be coerced into responding with an investigation. These scams would be a fitting expose story on "60 Minutes" or "20/20".

I hope that more people seeking business opportunities would check with the ripoff report and not the BBB.

Another USight Sucker

AUTHOR: Mary - (U.S.A.)

I, too, signed up with USight, for a multiple-site and merchant account package. I agree with the above posts. Their UBuilder is primitive; I was told before I signed up that one could use one's own site design and didn't need to use one of their templates, but after signing up when I called to find out how to do this, I was told it was not possible.

We all remember the spiel on "UTraffic" - how it would drive traffic to our site, and we'd better be prepared for the flood of hits we'd get. After activating UTraffic my site went from a whopping two hits per day down to two hits per week.

I even enrolled in the PMI e-marketing coaching program - for another $4000. After implementing the coach's suggestions, I still am getting only 2 hits per week!

Only about half of my e-mail inquiries have even gotten a response.

And now that I'm getting more web-savvy out of desperation to make this business work, I'm realizing how inflated the USight prices are and what a rip-off it is!

I briefly read this forum before purchasing, but I thought it was just because others weren't trying hard enough. Come to find out, they make it extreemly difficult to learn from and charge for every little thing that it takes to make the concept work on TOP of the $8500.00 I already spent! Included in that 8500 dollars was this thing called links 4 trade which I never got and when I finally got a hold of the person to talk to, they don't have any record of it in their copy of my paperwork!

So I look up 'links 4 trade' and it is way more inexpensive than they were going to charge (after the first 3 months it its $15.96 per month.

RECEIVED MY MONEY BACK

They tried to say that they were just a billing company but the # was a PMI number. Games!

I then placed a chargeback on the 2 amounts they charged since I had not received anything from them and had notified them before they charged that I would like to cancel.

Boy did they try to harass me. I stopped taking their calls and had my fiance handle any phone contact. They refused to take calls from him, they only wanted to talk to me. I guess girls are supposed to be stupid and easy to persuade - ya right!

I too had lost a nice amount of money. Not as much as others, but I did stop them from taking anymore money from me.

What I did was, since me and my wife used our Bank Check Card with the Visa logo, when we realized how much of a ripoff they were, we went in, made our account ZERO since there were charges and what not that was not authorized, we then went and cancelled that account at the bank and reopened a new one.

When USight realized they could not get any more money out of us, they tried to threaten us by saying they were going to take us to court. I laughed and said go ahead.

I've also been ripped off by Usight

AUTHOR: Carolyn - (U.S.A.)

I attended a seminar in July 2003 and have been taken by Usight for over $15,000. I'd love to get a class action suit together. I have contacted an attorney about getting my money back from them. If that is ineffective I want to begin a class action suit. Please contact me if interested or if one is already in progress. Thanks.

Another victim, add me to your list!

AUTHOR: Alfred - (U.S.A.)

My story is the same as all the others. My wife and I were taken in at one of the "seminars" on building your own internet business.

I bought the entire package, and spent the time via phone calls to learn/build/advertise my on-line business. After a year I've had less that 10 hits on my web site. I've been taken for thousands of dollars, unknown hours of trying to make the business work, unkown hours of "learning" via phone conferences with a "SME" that knew how to appease all my concerns as I worked the system. Needless to say, I was just another glassy eyed naieve person hoping to build a business that didn't have a chance to every get off the ground.

Usight coming to town again. tried to stop a similar operation called Storesonline from presenting their internet scam

AUTHOR: David - (U.S.A.)

Hi,

I read your posting, and I wanted you to know that Usight is coming to town again this Fri and Sat (Fri in Denver and Sat in Westiminster).

I tried to stop a similar operation called Storesonline from presenting their internet scam last year, but couldn't convince the hotel not to host it. I did get the Denver Post to run an article about it, but it is very dissappointing to see these people coming back into town again so soon with their scam.

I don't know if you have any information which might convince the hotels not to host the seminars, but if you do please let me know.

Yours,

USIGHT recieves "CEASE & DESIST" from Utah Court

AUTHOR: Russell - (U.S.A.)

The Utah Consumer Protection Division has taken USIGHT.COM to court TWICE and the Judge has handed down a "Cease & Desist" order to USIGHT.

I have ordered a copy of this order (and you should to) from Doug Haymore, States Attorneys Office who is enforcing the order. To request a copy fax 801-530-6001 to his attention and reference a "GRAMA REQUEST" for a copy of the Cease and Desist order.

If you haven't already do a Consumer Complaint form by going to www.utah.gov and select the CONSUMER PROTECTION DIVISION. There you can download the form.

The next VERY important thing to do is report USIGHT to the cybercrime unit cybercrime@utah.gov of Utah AND the States Attorney Investigations Division ( uag@utah.gov ) and tell them your story.

It is my understanding that the cybercrime unit has not iniated a criminal investigation YET, however they do not have the full data about the VAST number of people whom claim to be ripped off by USIGHT.

Together we can enlighten these departments to the real scope of USIGHT'S unethical and maybe even criminal treatment of hundreds and perhaps THOUSANDS of people out there who have been ripped off by USIGHT.

They need to know the magnitude of what USIGHT has been up to by doing their "Snake oil" sales seminars ALL ACCROSS AMERICA and then giving NO SERVICE, RUN AROUND, or only a fraction of what they promised in these seminars. Also the fact that USIGHT is almost impossible to get a refund out of after the usual three day "Contract waiting period"

If EVERYONE does their part by doing the above actions its a good bet a CRIMINAL investigation will happen and hopefully convictions of USIGHT Management or at least the CEO. When this hits the news media perhaps thousands of people will come forward who havent done so yet.

At this time we can easily iniate a civil law suit against usight and get our money back and maybe even some extra for the time and frustration we have spent trying to get USIGHT to do the right thing and give at least SOMTHING for the large sums of money they have taken from the AMERICAN PUBLIC.

I myself would volunteer to get everybodies statements together and find an attorney that will represent us ALL in a class action lawsuit. Good luck AND PLEASE do your part to bring justice to all the victums of USIGHT!
