USPRIZEDRAW.COM - NATIONWIDE ASSIST - ESBI FRAUDULENT VERIZON CHARGES ON MONTHLY BILLS PLANO Texas

Beware of fraudulent charges on your Verizon monthly phone bill under the heading "MISCELLANEOUS CHARGES & CREDITS"

If you should happen to see the description of the charge listed as "Emergencymthfee Vmail" with a short description & a charged amount (that you owe)explaining that the charges were forwarded to Verizon by a company named ESBI (the clearinghouse for NATIONWIDE ASSIST) then you can be assured you have been the victim of another person giving your phone number as their personal number (for billing purposes) to USPRIZEDRAW.

From what I have read on other blogs regarding this scam, Verizon supposedly has no control, and it hasnt (yet) been neccessary for me to contact Verizon thus far.
I called NATIONWIDE ASIST AND ESBI and disputed the charges. Not only did they assure me they would credit monies back to my VERIZON account, they actualy gave me the name of the person who signed up at USPRIZEDRAW, the date they signed up(with MY phone number) their e mail address, their name, and the town they lived in.. Jeesh.. I actually could not believe they gave me this much clearance to anothers info(tho I explained I had recently been the vitim of fraud/identity theft)
So as a word to the wise , check you Verizon phone bills carefully each month, especially under "MISCELLANEOUS CHARGES & CREDITS"
