we leased a truck pro star from usxpress inc. we had to pick up the truck in jacksonville,FL where we found that they did not do a DOT inspection they put a cert. sticker month and year but no ifta sticker we had to put it on ourselves they said in writing there was 443,000 miles on truck butwhen we checked it had 447,000 miles on it they would not change the miles

we went out on our 1st load and lost power we had to change the fuel filters our 2nd load we delivered but had to take truck to RUSH TRUCK SERVICE CENTER in Salt Lake City,UT because of failure codes they could not fix the truck because they could not access the truck computer usxpress gave them 8 different codes none worked then they bought a kit and then they got in they had to clear 148 active failures NOW if usxpress cant fix or access the computer failure codes HOW CAN YOU DOT CERTIFY A TRUCK WITH 148 ACTIVE FAILURE FAULT CODES you cant

we had to use our own money at a hotel no reimbersment and leased for 7 days  we were home on thanks giving time to renew our lic.and we cut hometime short to make sure we had 5 days to get enough miles in to cover truckpayments planner gave us a 358 mile load and the wrong address so instead of cancelling the load and giving us another load JGJONES FM. made us sit 24 hrs. to pick up load then we took it to their usxpress yard in Ellenwood, GA where we sat for another 24 hrs. trying to get them to give us another load

finally they did it went to OHIO we got to OHIO and they made us sit on the load to deliver it 24 hrs. later they had a terminal yard 30 miles away they would not let us drop it there and have a day cab company truck take it to customer 10 miles away we had the ability to drive 3500 miles with 5 days and a full 70 hr. reset instead we got 900 miles and sat on 2 loads for 3 days they put us in DEBT FOR NO REASON 1000.00 DOLLARS to the company then for the next 3 weeks gave us minimum miles we had no income they took it all we could not make rent or car payments WHY

For what reason  they did the same to us at christmas time and Anthony Wallace mind you trained under JGJONES when we filed a complaint about JGJONES an FM he would follow us to diferent divisions and when he would get involved withour loads he would take long mile load off us and give us short mile loads with company dry van div., reefer div. and yes lease div. he has been there 20+ yrs. trained all the younger FM's they now all defend him on everything EVEN IN RETALIATION against us how do i get the government to step in and look at our trucks we drove 22896 company,L10675 LEASE they put us in DEBT ON PURPOSE they FORCED US OUT OF BUSINESS that they sponser with LEASING THEIR TRUCKS we ME AND THE WIFE NEVER REFUSED A LOAD AND WE NEVER HAD A LATE LOAD so WHY would you do this to us RETALIATION IS WHY

now as to the motel it's in the contract YOU signd... they don't pay it

fault code's have nothing to do with dot

To lease or not to lease, that is the question?

   A lease is nothing more than a way to get you to pay for their truck while making you think you have the power of an O/O. It is all about control, and if you are not a butt kisser they will show you who has the control. There is a reason these big companies can't get drivers and I won't waste your time giving them to you because unfortunately you have already found out some on your own.
