2 women came into our yard while doing yardwork with baby in tow. Very friendly and personable. Gave us a story of how they were working for "points" toward a program for Single Mothers to help them get educated and support their families. Because this is a cause dear to our hearts we were sold and ended up falling for their magazine sales. $116 worth. After paying for them, we got a little nervous haven given them checks with our personal info on them. After doing some research on the internet we were even more nervous finding several rip off reports.

Later that evening while we were still deciding what to do about it, my husband went for a walk and found their so-called "point earning signatures" from our neighborhood in a parking lot. These ladies didn't appear to be earning points at all, just using that as  ploy to make it look legit. We are putting stop payment on the check and will be calling tomorrow to try and get through to cancel our subscriptions. We are normally very weary but seemed to fall for this one. Buyer beware.
