Underwater Adventures Dive Center Underwater Adventures-Paul Mickel MAJOR RIPOFF! Short Hills, New Jersey

Beware of this dive shop! The staff is OK, but the owner, Paul Mickel is a real phony. He pretends to care about you when he is taking your money for the classes and sells or rents you gear, but after that he talks down to you when you are taking a class with him. He has the personality of a doorknob.Also they sell you gear which has a 300% markup! For example, I took a look at a dive computer that was on the shelf for $750. I looked it up on the internet and that same dive computer was $275. This is the most overpriced-ripoff-dive- shop I have ever encountered.  Also, if you have any personal problems or need to reschedule, he is NOT accommodating or empathetic. Don't fall victim to this scammer! Go somewhere else and do yourself a BIG favor.
