I work for a bankruptcy attorney.  I filed for bankruptcy myself in 2006.  My boss and I try to educate our clients about credit pitfalls.  This "invitation" for a platinum credit card with a credit limit of $10,000 upon receipt of $37 will go on our Wall of Infamy.  It's the least we can do.

I always check these companies out.  I read all small print.  I have two regular credit cards that I have never been late in paying.  I am careful with my finances and live within my means.  I work part time and receive social security retirement.  I am 73, but I am still learning.  I certainly don't want to make more mistakes.  Thank goodness for Ripoff Report.  Keep up the good work.
