I was searching for a loan online one day and had applied for multiple companies. I recieved a call from a "Julia Callera" at UnionBay Financial Group. It is just as others stated, they required 15% upfront. I went down and sent a money gram as they said the funds I am requesting will be deposited within 24 hours. I called back and gave confirmation numbers. Funds were never deposited and they stated I needed to pay more money since the funds are coming from Cananda I have to pay the taxes on them as well. At this point I was furious, I told "Julia" that I wanted to cancel the whole thing and get my money back. Before the whole money exchange process, I read the contract over and over, also, viewed their website numerous times. After I told her I wanted to cancel and get my money back, she said it would be directly deposited back into my account in 48 hours. Go figure, 48 hours later and nothing. I tried calling the number I had called numerous times and I was getting a weird sound. Number didn't work anymore. I went to the website, and guess what, no website any longer. These People have no soul. I even told Julia I thought this might be a scam and of course she assured me many times it wasnt and to look at the website and the contract and to call her if I have any questions or concerns. Now I can't get through to anyone. I am so frustrated and want to make sure nobody else gets scammed by this company.
