Complaint Review: United American Insurance Company
United American Insurance Company339 East Main Street, #101 Rock Hill, South Carolina U.S.A.
United American Insurance Company Scam, rip off, background check, social security Rock Hill South Carolina
*UPDATE EX-employee responds: Nothing to worry about
Before the presentation began, we had to fill personal information on a sheet, including social security information. The presentation was long, and we were told how great the company is and how easily we can make good money.
After the end of the presentation we were asked to leave if we don't want a personal interview. I didn't leave (foolishly). Then, everyone from the presentation had a personal interview with the manager. Then I got to learn that licenses and courses have to be paid by me (total of 180). Then I was asked to sign an e-pad for background check, 1099 information and something else. Stupidly enough, I signed three times on the pad, without seeing the screen.
After I got home, I checked the company on Google and I found out all the other complains.
I am really worried now, especially for what I signed. Any advises? I am ready to speak with the police if something happens to my credit file.
