United American Insurance Dishonest about coverage Dayton, Miamisburg Ohio

I have been a member with United American Insurance since 2004. I have never used used the policy until recently when I injured my arm. I have paid over $5000 to United American Insurance over the years and I get $200 of my $1100.00 bill covered.

I had my kids on their flex plan, which I was told would cover all doctor visits.... They don't , they paid $25.00 per visit stating Visits exceeded the daily amount stated in the Medical Treatment benefit. This was on the first and every visit. I pay about $200 a month for the kids flex plan and they will only cover 25 of the $100 dollar visit.

The UA Partners plan is a joke. Everybody I present the discount card to looks at me like I'm crazy and say they never heard of the plan. That was an extra $9.00 a month for nothing.

Last month I had called to cancel all my policies and they said they would, however I still have not received a confirmation to the cancelation like the woman said I would. I have tried to call on a Sunday to confirm but of course they don't have operators on the weekend. Not to mention I cannot find a toll free number anywhere. So I have to pay long distance to confirm they won't bill me.

Now, after reading some other reporters I won't be surprised to see an automatic withdraw form my account.

Don't buy Insurance from United American. They are scammers. It looks as if its a horrible company to work for as well. I bet the benefits are a joke.
