United American Insurance scamed me out of good money Glen Ellyn Illinois

I worked for United American Insurance for a short time in 2006. I worked for them right after I graduated from college to get sales experience. I was told that I would be given hot sales leads. I was given leads but they were not hot, as a matter of fact most of the people told me they never filled anything out to be called about health insurance.

I was a 1099 employee which ment I had to pay for all my own expences which sucked. They also did not have an office, I had to make most of my calls from home which drove up my phone bill. Also I had to spend my day's pounding the pavement trying to generate sales. I had a number of doors slamed in my face.

Also their insurance plans are so confusing, it does not seem like they are real insurance plans to beging with.

Please, if approached by a manager from UA offering you a job, run the other way! They like to take advantage of new college graduates.
