Since that time when I tried to make a payment the person that I was dealing with assumed that because I only had a couple more payments left that I would pay the whole thing off with my income tax check which he did suggest but I did not agree to. So the payment that I sent which was my regular amount was rejected because it was put into the notes that I would be paying off the loan and they wouldn't take anything but the full amount. They told me that my car has been charged off their books already and it wont be on my credit report either.
I have not heard from them for some time now. I still owe for my car, less than $1000.00. I need to know what to do about getting this taken care of once and for all and getting the title to my car. The problem with this company is you never talk to the same person. When you make arrangements the person you talk to must not put it in the notes because a different person will call you again the same day or the next day to harass you.

BUT I also was told that they do NOT TAKE ONLINE bill payments from any banks, it is sent as a check and they do not like that - Yes, they offered other suggestions at more money on my end and even Wal-Mart - which I do not go to EVER - so I called my bank and set up on online bill pay and was told that they do not send checks to this company it is Electronically sent that day - Yes, there are times I have been late and yes we have decent credit not the bestest but decent - but before you go and accuse somebody of being "subprime" you better look to yourself first - because everybody makes mistakes but we all deserve decent service.

Just use online bill pay! Problem solved!

Therefore, paying online would be a good option.
Just pay your normal scheduled payment.
Unless....you are a derilect who doesn't have a checking account. After all, you are with a sub-prime lender for a reason.
It seems like you have a history of being late payer, as that is the only reason a finance co would ever call you, or be rude, etc.
There is obviously MUCH more to the story here.
They cannot change the payment terms of your legally binding contract UNLESS they notify you of said change in writing with a 30 day notice, OR you were so far behind on payments they accelerated the loan as per the terms of the contract.
If they rejected your payment, you obviously have a record of that rejection in writing, right??
As it stands now, you may be in default, and they can legally REPO your vehicle. That is probably the way it is going to work out. YOU need to be proactive in getting this resolved. It IS up to you to get that payment made as agreed.
You seem to think that the terms of the loan changed since they closed the local offices. I doubt that there was any guarantee in your original contract that said you would be able to walk in an make a payment.
Grow up. Get over it. Move on.
Why do you need to talk to them?
Why do you need to make arrangements?
Why??? Probably because your payment history is trash!
When you make your payments on time, everytime something remarkable happens. They don't call you. They are nice to you. It doesn't matter who answers the phone because there are no "arrangements" to be made.
Do you think that some how, some way you can climb out of this subprime financial swamp YOU immersed yourself into by developing the maturity and responsibility to pay your bills on time?
