So I thought I was almost done paying off my Rainbow machine ($2500) 12 month same as cash. I called the company to pay it off- my last payment of $300 over the phone and to make it official, cuz ofcourse they dont sent statements. When I called they told me that my 12 month same as cash expires 2 months ago.... Are you kidding me!? What do you mean expired!#@#%#$^
They told me that it started on the day I signed my contract not when I actually started making my payments. And they are just telling me this NOW! They told me I owe them $1300 more instead of $300. I was so shocked and dissapointed! So I asked to speak to a superviser, explained the situation to him and told him I would take them to court. After that being said, only then he said he will look into what he can do and get back to me.. So far 24 hours passed and I still havent heard back from them.
BEWARE! Do not trust this company! They will take your money, rip you off. They are so unproffecional and should not be allowed to do business!

That's the key. You signed a contract. What does it say about when the clock started on your 12 months? That's really the only thing that matters in this case.
" And they are just telling me this NOW! "
Of course. If they told you earlier, you might have escaped paying interest.
