Midland Marketing - United Legal Processing Division Scammed by United Legal Marketing Santa Monica California

I received a phone call and so did my sister regarding a payday loan that I took out with Midland Marketing. Mr. Jackson told me that I owed money from a payday loan with this company and if I did not pay I was going to jail for 2 years on criminal fraud. I was told to call Eric Johnson at Midland and speak to him about it. WHen I calledd Mr. Johnson and told him that I did not have a loan wih his company he told me to fax him infor from my bank. Well on Monday from work I received another call from Mr. jackson telling me that my fax was reviewed and sent on to Mr. Johnson. I called Mr. Johnson and he said there was nothing he could do for me and that I was going to get a summons and go to court. The funny thing is that when I asked Mr. Johnson if he was looking at my fax he said "yes" he had looked at it. I never faxed anything because I checked my bank account and found out that I never had a payday loan from this company. I plan on calling my local authorities on this and the FBI. Neither United Legal or Midland ever asked me for money.

Please me careful people! It can happen to anyone!
