I called this company to purchase a plane ticket for my daughter because I did not have enough money. They quoted me a price of $1200 roud trip which seem a little pricey to me but I took it because I have no other choice. The next day, I did some research and notice that the same ticket they sold me was only $589 round trip. Their prices are outrageous and this can cause a hardship to federal government employees.

I recently ran across this report on United Military Travel and I'm going to work with Ripoff report to get to the bottom of this. I'm currently employed at United Military Travel and have been with the company for years! United Military Travel operates under a different platform than most military travel finance companies. There is no possible way those rates were charged for the ticket. I looked up Tammy in our database and found no record from Tammy of South Carolina. Our address is not the one listed on this dispute.
United Military Travel operates unlike most companies, we like the old fashion way of business. We take care of our customers and appreciate the service they provide for our country and offer a service for he/she to get home or take a vacation. Sometimes the prices are a little higher than the prices you would find on say Priceline or Expedia, because they are 2 different kinds of companies. Priceline and Expedia offer tickets that you book yourself with sometimes no booking fees. They work upon volume and rarely have any kind of contact with the customer.
Everything is automated, while united military travel finances the loan, books the trip, and incurs the cost of the fare rising. You book your ticket the moment you type in your credit card number on those sites, while we have to wait for you to sign your loan documents. Sometimes we can offer lower rates than you can find online, other times they are a bit higher, but never to the degree of what is posted above. It's a business and we have to charge book fees, but not double the ticket!
We take pride in being the lowest military travel finance company and have a price match guarantee program. If one of our competitors offers a lower price, we will beat it by 20%! We never have to use our program, because our prices are rock bottom. We like having returning customers and like referrals and word of mouth. Our "old fashioned" way of business is keeping costs as low as possible, while providing the best customer service around. We are thankful for our military members and we would never charge something like this.
There is simply no record of the customer above and the address of the business is incorrect; we are not even in that state! One of our competitors is located in Kentucky and I think this customer may have been confused by the companies. The names are similar, but we are in no way related. We have very happy customers, which we call our "family." United Military Travel adopts our customers while they are deployed and sends them TLC care packages. We will get our name cleared from this error. This information is completely inaccurate.
