POSTED: Monday, December 15, 2008There has never been an employee who paid for a broken windshield. How do I know. Because I was in charge of the Safety Dept. for MPG Transport, which is a sister company. If anyone would contact the company about a broken window I would tell them that this was an act of God.

POSTED: Sunday, February 17, 2008I do not believe so, they stuck me (a driver) in Salt lake city for 3 weeks, then never paid me when I finally quit!
"Common sense"
Hardly, I have hauled cars for well over 1.5 million miles and have paid for a lot of windshields. If the broken windshield was not noted in the pre-trip vehicle inspection filled out by the driver, then someone needs to buy you a new windshield, and it wont be URS, it will be the driver who pays!
~who is to say a chain didn't loosen up and drop on the windshield and break it~
If someone did not haul the car and drove the car to AK for you, they would still be liable for damages because the vehicle does not belong to them!
If you are driving your car and a rock breaks the windshield THEN YOU are liable, lol.
