I ordered some gem parcels for the first time on J.T.V. com (Jewelry Television). Due to the lack of customer service, they did not indicate or warn potential customers about the serious risk of having their items lost/stolen due to UPS mail innovations, specifically the one located in Tustin CA on 1st street. I did not receive my gem parcels although they were listed as delivered on the tracking system on the postal website. I went to the local postal office that handled my delivery when I looked at the tracking detail. When I first arrived at this post office, I inquired about my package. The first women I went to found one tracking number but was unable to locate the other. She looked in the back for about ten minutes and was unable to find either one of my packages. She then gave me the supervisor name, Tani Eng, and gave me the phone number to the office. I proceeded to call the office,and waited about ten minutes for someone to pick the phone up. After having no luck with associates at Jewelry television, I went back to the post office in person to inquire about the package as soon as the office opened.
I waited yet again for about ten minutes and Mrs. Eng finally came up front. After discussing the issue and having the women at the front as well as her self, unsuccessfully locating my package in the office, she proceeded to tell me that she would get a hold of me the next day to speak to the handler who indicated the delivery status on the item. I asked her what my options were. She gave me none. She told me if the key to the package was placed in another mailbox that it would be my word against the package handler as to the true nature of where the key went to open the box to retrieve my package. I assumed that the worker would indicate he placed the key in my box and i asked what other option I had. She replied that I could do nothing because I didn't insure the purchase. Indicating it was my fault that the packages were mishandled! Which is noted by my complaint of Jewry Televisions customer practices.
So basically, due to the incompetence of the mail carrier I am out of 130 bucks! Totally unreliable service and incompetent mail carriers. We are supposed to be able to trust the post office! By any means necessary no one should use this service, let alone this postal office for any mail delivery service!
