I too bought a membership from United Vacation Network during a presentation held in Raleigh, NC on Dec.13th of last year. I hadn't got a chance to use this membership until upon visiting the site to check on cruises I saw all of the Ripoff Reports. I bought a membership to the tune of $4000. The person that was doing the presentation gave us all of these agencies that could back their legitimacy. I would like my money back also. Please contact me if there is a class action suit being filed or help me in retrieving my money back.

Still in business in Florida

AUTHOR: Ty - (U.S.A.)

I have seen reports on this company that is it out of business but it isn't. I received a presorted "Carnival Cruise Vacation" card from them two days ago (3/4/08). I am sure you have a lot of this but here is what I dug up so far:

As everyone here knows, THIS is a REALLY BAD Company! See bottom of this post for a link to at least 35 different horror stories!

Here is some additional information. They many names (not unusual in this racket). Other reported names include: World Connections, Inc., World Connections Travel, Mediterranean Resorts, Inc., United Vacation Network, Suncoast Travel Network, Travel Services USA, and Suncoast Vacations.

Their main office numbers are:

Phone: 727-531-1400
Fax: 727-535-3706

Their address (as associated with their office phone number is:

World Connections, Inc. (they are also listed as Mediterranean Resorts, Inc. at this address)

17757 US Highway 19 North
Clearwater, FL 33764

There is also another listed address:

3690 E Bay Dr, #J-L
Largo, FL
Phone:(727) 531-1400

I am going to contact the States Attny tomorrow with hopes of being able to get them to a local "siminar" that is being offered. Maybe we can take down these crooks once and for all.

Contact your State's Attorney General

AUTHOR: Mrs. Kelley-rogers - (U.S.A.)

United Vac.Netwk. travels all over the country giving these seminars. In some states they use different names. The work so fast that the average person can't keep up with them. You don't know where they are giving seminars until they are posted in a local newspaper (usually in retirement areas). To get your money back you would probably have to hire your own attorney first then try to get others to come on board. One couple in FL hired their own attorney and got their money back - I've written that attorney but have not gotten a response. WFTS ABC Action News (Tampa, FL area) did a special report on this company and brought the problems to the forefront. Other cities need to get their investigative reporters to look into these scams in their states. The owner of United Vac. Netwrk., Donna Loher, was murdered 11/7/07, in San Antonio, TX, and her ex-boyfriend has been arrested for the crime. She has 3 sons: Brandon Congleton (24), Nicholas Congleton (25), and Dylan Loher (15). I asked who the new owner was at UVN and was told Anthony Congleton. Anthony must be the first or middle name of either Brandon or Nicholas. I haven't been able to find the answer to that yet. Still working on it.
