Universal Fidelity, LP Legal Successor of Hollywood Video Received a letter on 1/25/2012 from Universal Fidelity stating that I owed $134.04 for three videos that were rented from Hollywood Video on 05/12/10 and 05/19/10. Houston, Texas

Received a "Confidential Message" from Universal Fidelity, LP on 1/25/2012 stating that we owed $134.04 to them for three videos rented from Hollywood Video on 5/12/2010 and 5/19/2010.  Two of the videos were returned to the video store sometime in June 2010.  They allowed us to purchase the third one since they were going out of business anyway and it was cheaper to purchase it rather than pay the late fees.  I thought that was the end of the matter.

Now out of the blue, I get a letter saying I owe this money?   Who keeps receipts for a minor purchase for TWO YEARS?

I am finding it very interesting that other people are getting notices for transactions from 2-3 years ago!
