i signed up for classes, 0n 7/9/07. i asked the teacher help on a final project topic assignment that was due on day five. i had read over everything and didnt understand,i sent him an email, his reply was everything is in the syllabus, did you read? if i am asking for help of course i read, i am not going to be so stupid not to read and say i dpnt understand. my financial aid advisor never knew what he was doing,, never really answered my questions. the classes were for like an 8th grade class, nobody ever knew what was going on.
on the 13th i called and said i wanted to cancel my enrollment. my financial counselor told me i owe 617,then my enrollment adivsor said i owe 750, not one of them knew what i was talking about. in the morning i sent my financial counselor an email letting him know why i was cancelling them. he forwarded the email to my enrollment counselor and wrote a little message to her saying"another one of your peeps gone to dust" and he mistankingly cc me on it so when i see this message i was pissed off, how unproffesional..
any ways i didnt really care about the grammar or anything in this message were just writting to get a point across, not a college paper..
DO NOT GO TO UOP, THEY ARE A RIP OFF,AT FIRST I THOUGHT THIS SITE WAS JUST TALKING BADD ABOUT EVERY SCHOOL, BUT NO!! ITS LEGIT, DO NOT GO TO UOP,THEY ARE A RIP OFF!!

Ask Lee about Intel.....

Maybe ask him why, after spending good money getting an MBA etc...., the UOP can't keep a noteworthy corporate client like Intel Corporation. I'd be worried about education quality if a major corporation voted with the its' pocket book in this fashion, wanting to "raise the standards". The following news article explains the decision (from AZ Republic Newspaper)...
"Intel is raising the standards in its tuition reimbursement program in a bid to create what Fisher calls a world-class program. Intel noticed higher-than-normal attrition among employees who had taken classes on the company's dime and set out to find out why.
A big finding: Some workers left or were planning to leave because their new degree didn't help them advance at Intel, Fisher said.
Competition is stiff for promotions and new jobs at Intel, with a top-notch education often a deciding point for those who score interviews, Fisher said. Plus, the company only recruits recent college graduates from first-rate, traditional universities. The new standards are designed to level the playing field, he said."
