We are very sorry to hear about your experience while attempting to cancel your membership with us. We would be glad to follow up with you to address your questions as soon as possible. You can reach us via our website under the Contact Us link (This site does not allow us to post our website or contact info). We strive to have a positive membership experience from start to finish.
To clarify some of your comments (for those who are reading this and considering Urban Active):
1) We sell month-to-month memberships.
2) To cancel there is a $10 Cancellation Administrative Fee (one time).
3) You can cancel anytime with a 30 day written notice requesting to cancel.
4) You can cancel your membership in the club with a club manager.
5) The "approval process" for cancellations is to ensure requests are processed correctly.
We are glad to answer any questions you may have regarding your membership agreement. We would welcome the opportunity to follow up on your questions directly with you. We are awaiting your call/email.
