#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds

You are a Victim of Cramming

AUTHOR: Frances (frankie) - (U.S.A.)

Contact your attorney general's office, file a complaint, you will receive the credit for all the billing that has occurred in the past. The local phone company customer service can only see back 6 months to 1 years-it is possible the charges go back further. I am the ex-employee of a company that did customer service for One Call. If you want to stop this from happening to other people tell them when you get your credit you still want to pursue the matter of the fraudulent billing. No victim, no crime, other people did not tell them to pursue it any further and you became another victim as a result.

#2 Consumer Suggestion

Contact your telephone company

AUTHOR: John - (U.S.A.)

I have also been a victim of services added to my telephone without my permission. In many cases, you can sign up for some registration on the internet to receive adds or contests and if you don't read the fine print, they can use your telephone number to add services to your line, such as voice mail, at an extra charge that you may cancel at any time.

Contact your telephone company and tell them to put a block on your account that will not allow any services to your your account unless you specifically authorize it. This will stop third-party billers from doing this.
