V2Premier sold us a computer for $2,500.00. We purchased the computer off of Shop NBC due to the fact that the salesmen kept stating that it's the best computer we could ever find and that the customer service (both hardware and software) are the best in the industry. -Hardware support has been everything but ideal, and the same with software support.
-We purchased an extended warranty (hardware) from V2Premier and were told that we could purchase the extended software warranty at any time. What they didn't tell us was that when we purchased the extended software warranty we would have to wait 7-14 days before we could receive help; even though we were paying with our credit card.
-Our computer crashed and we had to get a new hard drive at which time we were informed we have to purchase the recovery cd for $24.99. (They say this is not a cost for the cd, but is a processing fee and shipping and handling fee). -To receive the recovery cd without purchasing the extended software warranty we have to sign a waiver that releases V2Premier from any responsibility.

Just an update... We acquired a Dell laptop from a friend (for free) that was not working at all. My husband called Dell and they helped him get the laptop up and running, at no charge. And they still help us for free even though the warranty expired in 2003. -Thank GOD for Dell, otherwise I would have to be doing my online schooling by dial up!
We're willing to sell our V2 premier to anyone who wants it (as is)... There will be no warranty -LOL, just kidding :)
