I wanted a pdf software that allowed me to make annotations to a pdf and to create internal hyperlinks within the document.  After doing some research, I came to the VERYPDF website and downloaded there trial software.  It did appear to do as they claimed so I purchased the full version for just shy of $100.

I activate the software per email instructions.  I spent about one hour working on a document then saved and closed the document.  When I reopened the document all of my work was gone.  I then opened the document in Adobe pdf reader, and in the top of the left hand corner, in big red letters it said, "this document was created with a trial version of VERYPDF"

I was a little upset because it had NOT been created in a trial product, as I had activated it before creating the document.  So I completely removed the software, reinstalled, and reactivated.  I then tried editing a sample document, saving and closing.  Same exact issue.  So I opened adobd pdf and viewed it and that error was still there.  I then opened a completely different document and closed it.  When I reopened VERYPDF it had combined a random page into the original document PLUS deleted several pages.

I then began wondering if maybe there was an issue with my computer.  So I installed it on another computer, with a different operating system (original pc used windows 8 and the second computer uses Windows 7).  Went through doing some test edits on a sample document.  The same exact issue.  At that point it had nothing to do with me, it was the software.   So I tried contacting customer service.  There was no way to contact them.  Just an email address.  Their website has this area where you can chat with customer service.

It says that someone will be right with you but noone every comes.  So they have help files and FAQs.  Customers do not have the ability to post any questions and the newest FAQ is from 2007.  There was absolutely nothing anywhere that addresses this issue so I gave up.  I completely removed all traces of the software from both computers and requested a refund from VERYPDF.  Beware -- there software is simply a pdf reader being sold as a fully functional pdf editor at a stiff price of $100
