SEO Reputation Management at its best!

They con you in with low prices, easy access, and superior service. Don't believe anything except the low prices. And then remember you get what you pay for. Ma Bell provided years of impeccable service, but it was getting expensive. So voila, I have cable TV, cable Internet, so why not VOIP (cable phone).

Sign up was easy, (although delayed), service was good in the beginning (6 months ago), and web access is surely a plus. However when you have a problem try to email them! Boiler plate messages come back. Your inquiry is never answered. OK, call them on the phone any phone and all you get is a looping menu and no-one ever answers EVER.
All right you're desperate so you fax them. Fuggedaboutit! They will NEVER reply.

They screw up on a repetitive credit card charge and then blame the customer by shutting off service. They fail to answer on service shutdowns. Their phone service has become very unreliable, quality of transmission is crackling and breaks up, and the ability to contact a live human is actually impossible. Now I'm worried how to stop their service without a phone for 2 weeks. Please, don't give up on Ma Bell. The grass is not greener on the other side. You will be sorry.

Of course sherri would defend vonage. People who have vonage have I am a better then you attiude.

Its sad vonage does this to people during these difficult times.

Vonage will ruin your checking account. Do not give them your checking account info or debit card.

Because they will abuse It & betray your trust.

WE HAVE HAD GREAT SERVICE WITH VONAGE

AUTHOR: Sherri - (U.S.A.)

The one time I had to call Customer Service, they were able to solve my problem almost immediately, although I was on hold longer than I would have liked to be. I have absolutely no complaints about the quality of transmission and no dropped calls. The only issue I have ever had is that a couple of times, my email was inaccessible, but that was a short-term problem. Overall, I have had fewer problems with Vonage than I ever had with AT&T.

WARNING

AUTHOR: Cory - (U.S.A.)

Two things you need to check out before you switch over to the other type of phone service. Is your alarm system going to work? Are you going to be able to dial 911, in case of an emergency? Some people have forgotten that their home or business alarms are tied into their phone line. Disconnect that line and the alarm no longer functions. Another aspect is that your location can't be traced back to your address, making a 911 call even if it does work. Check it out before hand and don't learn the hard way.
